Yudi was very kind and answered all my questions and even came late at night to sort something out for me. The villa is really nice with a good aircon, kitchen with fridge, washing machine (I had to get my own washing powder though) and your own small pool with jets that glow different colours at night. There is no microwave. You would need an e-bike or bicycle to get around though as it's a bit far to walk but once you get those it's 10 to 20mins ride in either direction. No restaurants at Santan but loads of other hotels with restaurants there if you want somewhere else to eat that's close by. No plug in mosquito repellants in the room but I got one in one of the shops by the harbour. Santan provided me with a bicycle for 50k per day. I really liked the Gili sounds made by nature at night which are amplified by hanging cups. Cleaning happened every 2 days with me but that was my choice, if you want daily cleaning, Yuri will gladly make it happen.
Had to get my own washing powder, had to get my own plug in mosquito repellant. Even though the villa is a bit out of the busy areas, I could still hear the party music beats most of the night (until 5am for full moon party night). Number 6 villa which I started at was very noisy as you could hear the neighbours throughout the night as if they were in my bathroom but Yudi kindly moved me to Villa 2 the next day which helped. Rooster... Rooster... Rooster, lots of crowing roosters throughout the day and night.... That's not only at Santan but throughout that area.

Beautiful inside and out. Loved having a private pool. Spacious property. Set in the quieter part of the island but not too far to cycle or walk to the beach.
Shower wasn’t very powerful.

The villa was very clean and nicely appointed
As much as I wanted to like this villa, there were a lot of maintenance issues. No DVD, TV didn't work, safe wouldn't open, brakes on my bike didn't work, card machine wasn't working, the light on my second bike didn't work but the worst was the pool. The light in the pool was hanging out of the wall by the wires, the grouting was green and slimy and the coping was mouldy. The pool needs to be emptied and thoroughly scrubbed and repaired. Ami fixed everything as soon as we complained (cleaned the coping) but most complaints could have been avoided if it was checked before we arrived
