This is a historic hotel that preserves its charm with wooden walls, floors, and ceilings, while featuring updated furnishings. The views of the fjord from the room were beautiful. The breakfast was very good—though somewhat limited in variety, we still really enjoyed it.
Although we had a very pleasant stay, the room size is better suited for two rather than four people, as the dining table was quite small. It wasn’t an issue for us since we only stayed one night, but it might feel less comfortable for longer stays.

A great location for a one-night stopover during our journey from Senja to Lofoten. The hotel had a charming rustic feel and was warm and cozy. We especially appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, which made cooking an enjoyable experience.
The front desk staff were very friendly and made our check-in smooth and hassle-free. We also thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, which offered a great selection of options.

Several small things: the water basin inside the toilet did not properly outflow, not even after pouring chemicals (quite likely hair was trapped in the tubes); more than one light was not working
