We loved everything about this hotel, from its truly fabulous waterfront location to the very enjoyable stroll along the harbour into town and to the ferry port and bus station.
There is also a supermarket practically next door, which stocks pretty much everything you could need — incredibly convenient.
The staff were polite, professional, friendly and extremely helpful throughout our stay. It was also lovely to be able to enjoy a meal in the restaurant while taking in the beautiful sea views.
Our room was huge! It felt extremely spacious, comfortable and welcoming, and the cleaning staff did a fantastic job.
What more can I say? The whole experience really did feel like a home away from home, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would happily return!

Most unique aspect of this hotel is the dinner included, which is quite nice and really a differential. It's based on a fixed weekly menu, we had one night with Mexican tacos and the other Thai chicken. Both were good. On top of this, in the afternoon the hotel offers fika (a kind of coffee break with cake). The renovated room was quite comfortable and spacious. Location was very convenient, Harstad is quite compact and from the hotel everything is around walking distance. Breakfast was okay, it can get a bit overcrowded. Overall, very good value for money.
Parking is not very obvious.

Good location, good breakfast, friendly reception staff.
Emailed in advance to say we were arriving at 9pm, after dinner service, and to ask if it would be possible to arrange for some food in our room (after a long journey travelling with 2 young children). No response to this enquiry and nothing arranged prior to our arrival.
