We stayed here purely to enable us to catch the first ferry out of Andenes to Senja the following morning. This worked fine as we were recommended to park at the port and the accommodation is only a 15 minute walk away. The room was ok, quiet and bathroom good. Well located by the harbour and a nice walk out to the lighthouse.
No breakfast available so suggest bring your own. Limited options for evening dinner in the town, although we found a good pizza place round the corner. Also note that you have to pick up the keys at a different hotel as you enter the town which was a bit strange..

The room was lovely, clean and wonderfull located, just a coup^le of minutes away (walking) from where we did our whale watching trip.

Location. Ease of process at check-in and check-out (esp. if you need to scoot early to catch the first ferry to Gryllefjord).
Not exactly what is represented in the pictures. As it so happens there are two other adjacent set of buildings (a red one and a yellow one, whose names escape me) and we found ourselves in the red one. No complaints: we had an harbour view as promised and a terrace to enjoy it (weather permitting). Dinner in town however might prove a struggle if not booked in advance. But there is always the pizza place and there are a couple of supermarkets right before reaching town (open late). So cooking @ lodging is always an option.

Since We were travelling by public transport, imagine travelling that additional distance of half or more km with luggage with snowfall...
It made no sense.
If it was difficult to manage, the hotel should have a key box kind of set-up.
Also if one wants to add breakfast, that too was in the displaced location.
