The room and the entire hotel were spotlessly clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. It is clear that they truly care about their guests and put their hearts into making every stay enjoyable.
During my stay in Tokyo, it rained for all four days. Every single day, Mr. and Mrs. Tanaka kindly dried my shoes for me. It was such a thoughtful gesture that I will never forget.
The most memorable surprise was that they celebrated my birthday. They gave me a small piece of cake and a beautiful birthday card. It was completely unexpected and made my day so special. Thank you so much for your kindness and thoughtfulness!
Thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Tanaka, my stay was truly unforgettable. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking not only for a clean and comfortable place to stay, but also for genuine Japanese hospitality.

The room design.
The friendly and helpful owners. The lemon tea on arrival, loan of umbrellas, shoe drying and laundry service!

The host was super friendly and helpful. The location is nice and quiet and it's about a 10min walk to the nearest train station.

The stay was amazing. It was our first trip to Japan and we could not have found a better place. The owners are super kind and very helpful. We had problems with cancellations due to typhoon on Okinawa for our next trip in Japan and they helped us find solutions. The pictures on the website do not honour properly the beauty of the rooms. The house is spotless, towels are changed every day and you can even have your laundry done for free. Ryogoku is an amazing part of Tokyo. There are many museums. Hokusai museum, Museum of Edo, sword museum. There is also the main sumo stadium there. You can walk to Asakusa and there is train and metro to go to Tokyo. There are many reasons but Ryogoku is also very peaceful and relaxing. We would definitely come back.
