Location in a bushland setting, with a lovely room with great views, and comfortable bed and ensuite with separate toilet. Mat is a is a very welcoming and helpful host. Kangaroos grazing on the lawns was most enjoyable. The short drive to Point Picquet for wonderful whale watching was a bonus.

The shared kitchen / common room is very tiny with only a small cafe table if you choose to eat breakfast in the room. A couple of comfy chairs in our room instead of cafe chairs would have been a nice extra feature.

The location and proximity to local attractions. The kangaroos were great, and the fire pit was great as it was winter. The bed was really comfortable and the shower was powerful. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Being able to use the kitchen at any time was good. The place was very quiet and relaxing.

The lighting in the bathroom and toilet was extremely bright and harsh. A warmer shade of white would be better. The rooms are named for the seasons but the decor doesn't reflect it. We stayed in the summer room, but it was all contemporary furnishings with neutral colours on the walls and curtains. There were no pictures on the walls. After a long drive and feeling a bit frazzled, all I wanted was a coffee and a rest but the host was a bit too chatty and the welcome took longer than I would have wished. I would have preferred a kettle in the room, as there was a fridge in the room , and it could be used for milk as well as beer.

Bathroon was for disabled persons which is not a negative for this B&B. I did not realise this when I booked a room. The other three rooms were a different layout and would have suited us better. ie Seperate toilet, shower and vanity space. TV small and offset near door. Table in room very small.
