The property was lovely. It was built down instead of built up, so there’s a very beautiful earthen atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel felt secure and safe.
The flooring in the hotel room bathrooms, and the pool could be very slippery when wet, but this was a minor aspect.

Location, safe, clean, staff was great
Overall, the stay was fine, but the mattress was extremely uncomfortable. It was difficult to get a good night’s sleep. A comfortable bed is one of the most important parts of a hotel stay, so this was disappointing. I hope the hotel considers replacing or upgrading the mattresses, as it would greatly improve the guest experience.

The breakfast buffet had everything. The ancestral massage was worth the trip to Oaxaca. Club was closed a lot of the time but it didn't matter. Everyone was so cheerful.
They seemed to push more expensive transit options. Not much of a view except to interior areas, but they were well designed.
