Das BBC zählte auf unserer 3-wöchigen Reise durch Sri Lanka mit Abstand zu den schönsten Hotels. Die großen, hellen und stilvoll eingerichteten Räume haben uns sofort begeistert. Besonders gefallen hat uns dabei das große, sehr gepflegte Badezimmer mit einer tollen lichtdurchfluteten Regendusche.
Ein absolutes Plus war auch die Klimaanlage. Es war tatsächlich das einzige Hotel auf unserer gesamten Reise, in dem sie so perfekt angebracht war, dass man nachts ohne störenden Windzug wunderbar schlafen konnte.
Auch der schöne Pool und der direkte Zugang zum Strand haben uns begeistert.
Das Essen im eigenen Restaurant war super lecker. Dazu kam der erstklassige Service des gesamten Hotelpersonals. Alle waren unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit, sodass wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt haben.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Bombay Bicycle Club Bentota. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Their hospitality was exceptional, friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. They even offered tuk-tuk lifts when needed, which was such a thoughtful touch and made getting around incredibly easy.
The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with a charming boutique feel that sets it apart from larger resorts. Every area is tastefully decorated, creating a warm, stylish, and relaxing atmosphere. The attention to detail throughout the property is impressive.
The rooms and common areas were spotless, and the level of cleanliness was outstanding. Incredible mattress, best one I’ve ever slept on. The food was also excellent, with delicious breakfasts, meals and great service every time.
What really makes this place special is the combination of beautiful surroundings, fantastic facilities, and genuinely caring staff who make every guest feel valued. If you’re looking for a boutique hotel experience in Bentota with amazing service, lovely food, and a welcoming atmosphere, I couldn’t recommend Bombay Bicycle Club highly enough.
I would happily stay here again and hope to return in the future.

It was simple and clean with a great room and balcony overlooking the Indian Ocean, we had breakfast included which was delicious and generous
