Exceptional hotel at the beach

The place is amazing, the staff are very helpful and will do anything to make your stay exceptional. Beautiful views from the room, outdoor bath is cool. We would like to go back again.

Wonderful stay

My overall impression of my recent stay it was wonderful and it meet expectations staff was very friendly and welcoming they provide at my arrival butler to take care of me during my stay his name was Sudath he was very nice and friendly

Everything was top notch , such a heaven on earth

Spa prices must be more specific in the menu , it’s different than what they asked in the spa , pool must be cleaned during the turn down service .

100/10 and would 100% come again

Truly one of the most incredible places for a getaway whether it be a couple or a family, everything about this place is so lovely and don’t even get me started on the amazing staff, our private butler (who’s name I believe was iresha) was so down to earth and kind. Absolute YES for anyone wanting a private getaway.

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property, but, for the price I paid I expected the minibar to be free of cost atleast.

Nice location but very overpriced.

The location was really good and the staff were lovely.

I wouldnt personally rate this a 5 star hotel. Without the staff I would have moved and asked for my money back. The food in the restaurant was terrible and the room wasnt very clean. The air conditioning unit was marked as needed a filter change and I didnt realise till we were unpacked and settled in (as you are aware unclean air conditioning units are very dangerous and can cause legionnaires). Although the bathroom is nice without a covering from the roof it means mud and dirt falls in continuously (I wasn't sure whether the room was actually cleaned and checked before our arrival or not).

Simply marvellous

This hotel is just so special, every detail is exceptional and the staff are all so courteous and eager to ensure you have a perfect stay. A special mention for Iresha in the restaurant who ensured we had the best meals during our stay and for nothing was to much trouble and to Silver for mixing us up special daily cocktails to enjoy. The room was also lovely with the private pool

It is fantastic place! We like everything so much! Incredible view on the beautiful ocean from all point of the hotel. Huge room and all necessary and modern inside (including coffee machine), comfortable bed, bathroom on open air, amazing terrace where you can enjoy the view. Very friendly and welcomed stuff. Very tasty food and drinks in the restaurant. The restaurant as all hotel has amazing ocean view. Waitress Iresha was very kind and professional, she recommended us ideal options for our lunch and dinner and treated us with great warmth and health. We asked for late check-out and the hotel provided it to us without any additional cost. We highly recommend this wonderful place to all!!!

Everything was perfect. We regret that we spend only 1 night in this paradise.

This is an exceptional hotel - a true gem. The views of the sea from the hotel/ rooms are gorgeous, service was impeccable and the food brilliant. The beaches were clean and lovely. We had a super time and a very relaxing holiday. In particular I would like to compliment the life guards who would be there on the beach when the guests are swimming.

Stylish boutique hotel in an excellent position with good beach access, friendly and courteous staff

Beautifully positioned and attractively designed hotel with huge beaches either side. Stylish and very well appointed room. Very accommodating early check-in and foot massage on arrival was a nice touch. The staff were exemplary.

Consider providing a kettle in the room and please make the menu prices show full amount so that guests do not need to add service charge and tax to work out the total amount.

Amazing end to out Sri Lanka trip

This was the first 'boutique' hotel to open in Sri Lanka and it's quite something. In an absolutely stunning location it is textbook out of a travel magazine. The rooms with pools are very pricey but worth it. Food in restaurant is actually quite affordable, wine is expensive. There are couple of really nice places within walking distance too. Staff are amazing. Beach is superb. Just book it

Everything was amazing about this hotel, from the location, to the staff, to the unbelievable food. Every single meal was exceptional. The views were stunning, the infinity pool was spectacular and the room was lovely. Silva made excellent cocktails and all the staff, Iresha and the whole team, were so friendly and provided a great service.

amazing location and hotel. well worth the money.

Saman villas is in a stunning location with sea views as far as you can see. the rooms are very comfortable and the staff are so welcoming. we had a wonderful stay. we also did some amazing tours as well with Dim tours and would highly recommend spending some time at Saman villas and relaxing after doing a tour of this Amaru Ning country.

the lights in the room annoyed me as there were various mood settings and you couldn’t turn one on at a time but that’s a personal preference.

Relaxing, luxurious retreat with outstanding views!

Beautiful hotel & amazing staff. Every single member of staff you meet is professional, welcoming and friendly. The views from the hotel are incredible and the food delicious. The spa treatments were also excellent. A luxurious and relaxing way to end our trip in Sri Lanka.
