Despite the issues we experienced at the beginning of our stay, I would like to highlight the excellent service provided by Alaa (آلاء) at the reception.
On our second day, after discovering that our room window did not close properly and the TV was not working, we went back to reception to ask for assistance. This time, we met Alaa, and the difference in service was remarkable. She listened carefully to our concerns, showed genuine understanding, and immediately offered us a better room.
From that moment on, Alaa made our stay much more comfortable and enjoyable. She was always kind, professional, and willing to help. She repeatedly assured us that if we needed anything, we could simply let her know and she would do her best to support us. She also helped us with additional items we needed during our stay, including towels and other essentials.
What impressed us most was her positive attitude. Every day, she greeted us with a smile, spoke to us in a friendly and respectful manner, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Traveling with my wife and two children, these small gestures meant a lot to us and significantly improved our overall experience at the hotel.
Alaa's outstanding customer service, professionalism, and kindness are a real asset to The Location Hotel. If we decide to return to this hotel in the future, it will be largely because of the positive experience she created for our family. My family and I (my wife, two children, and I) stayed at The Location Hotel for five nights. Unfortunately, our experience started on a very disappointing note.
We arrived in Cairo at around 8:00 AM after an overnight train journey from Luxor. We were extremely tired, especially with two young children, so I approached the reception desk and explained our situation to a staff member named Bassem. I politely asked if an early check-in would be possible or if there was any available room where we could rest for a few hours, even if it required an additional charge.
Unfortunately, Bassem was neither helpful nor understanding. His attitude toward us was not welcoming, and he did not make any effort to offer alternatives or assist us in any way. After the interaction, we felt that our concerns were simply dismissed.
As a result, we were forced to leave the hotel and spend several hours searching for another place where we could rest until our room became available.
Hospitality begins with customer care, especially when families are traveling with children after a long journey. Sadly, the lack of empathy and poor customer service we received from Bassem left a very negative first impression and significantly affected our overall experience. I hope the hotel management addresses this issue and provides better customer service training to its front desk staff.

They served local(egyptian) breakfast,which was delicious.Last year I ate local breakfast here,and this year it is one of the reasons to book with this hotel.All staff and owner very nice and helpful.My flight landed at 6 in morning and they let me
early check-in.Last year ı stayed for 3 days,this time there was 22 hrs overlay in cairo for my flight from istanbul to New York,so ı decided to stay one night in the Location Hotel.My departing flight was on next day early morning,ie 5:30 hrs, so I asked them to have my breakfast one day earlier, ı mean at chcek-in day early morning,instead of next day.They accepted ! so I checked in early morning,at 7:00hrs and ate my breakfast,then went out to see cairo atractions all day,returned at evening for rest,get up at 03:00hrs and checked-out and went to airport.It was time and money-efficient experience thanks to the location Hotel.Next year I am going to stay in this hotel again!

Room was clean. Staff was helpful.
Shabby building. You'll have to carry luggage to first floor from where there is a lift to hotel. Hotel is basically rooms in an apartment. Toilet is in the room with open roof and all what you do inside is heard outside
