The size of the room was great and the breakfast was an added bonus. The staff are exceptionally polite and go out of their way to help
There were things missing from the room like the tv remote, towels and soap but these were all rectified as soon as we mentioned them.

The boss was very nice and he changed us the breakfast to the check-in day because we couldn't have breakfast next day. The room is clean, big and nice, and the location is perfect.
There was a problem with hot water but they fixed. However the shower leaks a bit and it's uncomfortable.

Really nice hotel. Helpful staff, especially Tamer Talaat.

Location is great. Walk to Egypt museum. Walk to khan el-khalili. Ideal. Staff were exceptional. Offered me a very tasty lunch when I video called home in kitchen area. Tamer was very friendly and helpful. The driver and other staff super friendly too. My room was quiet given the downtown location. Would recommend and I’d stay there again.

All the staff were really friendly and helpful. Easy to find and good location for shops. Value for money is great. The building is amazing with ceilings nearly 4m high, which helps to keep the place cool, one day was 37°C outside and i didn't put on the aircon once.
The road outside is noisy, but quietens down around 2200. The showers temperature fluctuates and spills beyond the shower areas, however, if you ask Hassan or Temer they will go above and beyond to clear.

low price
The hotel staff will keep promoting their travel products to you, and he still let me listen to him when I told him the taxi is waiting for me. The hotel is located in a place where the street is extremely narrow and very congested. Every time I go out, I have to experience traffic jams. I took a taxi to the airport at 5pm and was stuck downstairs for 30 minutes which nearly missed my flight. It's not really a hotel, it's just a few rooms on one floor, and it's hard to find without someone to show you up. My room had a door behind a curtain leading to a balcony that was full of rubbish. If you want to book this hotel and don't buy their travel products, be prepared to be canceled at any time. On my return to Cairo they canceled me at 8:30pm with no apology. I had to spend several times the price of half a month ago to find a hotel again that night. This is my worst experience in Egypt. If you have a slightly more budget, you will get a hotel with better facilities and services.

Location was great, lots of cafe, bars and shops around. The staff were great and very welcoming. They were very responsive to our request.
The bathroom in our room leaked, so whenever we took a shower, water would pool in the room. Hot water is not consistent. While taking a shower the water would run cold. Something they should fix. Difficult to find the property in day time as there was no clear sign for it.

Got the early check in and was welcome by Mr Tamer also this time. Second ride on the ancient kind of elevator. Warm hospitality as usual and no formalities needed check in very seamless. Not able to have the same room like last time however not a big deal for short stay. Breakfast is simple yet filling as well eggs by Mrs Ebtsam while hot water for shower doesn’t happen as frequent like last stay. Mohamed is entertaining and nice to chat with.
Hot water for bathroom still need to be improved.

Hospitality of the owner
We reached the hotel, climbed 2 floors and then was told by the owner that the hotel is full (we had paid the money in advance). Then he shifted us to another hotel (with the help of staff), but to climb 3 floors again. The room was average, but surprisingly there was no door between the room and latrine (now you can imagine the plight inside the room after someone goes to the latrine). Could've been a better experience!

Reception staff Mr Tahmer and Mr David is helpful and I arrived earlier than official check in time however not being hold since they have availability and check me in straight away. Was escorted to the hotel by Mr Tahmer and got a ride with traditional small elevator which I have seen only in movie most of the time feel like the scene of The Grand Budapest. Hotel itself is on second floor and close to street so noise wise is there however got a room behind the street so less noise not completely without and is fine understandable. Egyptian Museum is in walking distance same to some coffee shop or restaurants also groceries if you need as well money exchange office. Have extended my stay for another night last minute and they make it possible without room move. Appreciate tons of effort they given.
Constant hot water for bathroom will be nice since Winter is right now. Other than that all are well.

My stay at the hotel was very delighful that i even booked it twice. Not only is it located in the downtown which means all of historical cairo is within a walking distance , but also the staff is very accomodating. The owner and his sister Ms Ibtissam are very helpful and welcoming , they really made me feel like home. The atmosphere here is more of a boutique hotel where all of the staff knows everyone, and this honestly is what makes this hotel special. I highly recommend people staying here

The host has been amazing. He helped us to enjoy Cairo in the best way. The hotel is in the real center of the city and in a very nice square. Super recommended.

The bedrooms were great, were clean. The staff was really nice and courteous.
Though the linen was clean, but was a little old and could become better if replaced. And also if the breakfast would have more variety.

The breakfast was very nice.
The bed was big and comfortable and the room had air conditioning.
Wi fi connection worked very well and i loved the location (is close to everything you need). The elevator of the building is such a relic. I swear!
The hostel doesn't have proper towels so bring yours.
