Nice pool and courtyard area
On arrival the hotel manager met us from the taxi to show us the way. He didn’t speak much English so we struggled asking him questions and checking in.
When we got to the property, we realised The images of the hotel are all quite misleading. It is much smaller than the images give you the impression. The entrance to the hotel is down a dark alley which at night is not very well lit and next to a demolished building filled with rubbish and waste.
We tried to arrange some lunch as the hotel is a restaurant and spa. The restaurant had 4/5 options to choose from which we were okay with but it took 2 hours for them to make our lunch. It seemed there was only one chef. The manager and chef didn’t acknowledge we had been waiting for this long when we asked on the time. He would just say ‘it’s coming’ so we just had to continue to wait. He did not offer us a drink whilst we wait and when we did translate eventually we would like a cold drink he brought us out one warm can of tropical juice to share. We asked for another and that never came.
There were images of a bar in the photos. This is just for show it’s completely unattended/unused. They didn’t serve cold drinks. And didn’t serve any beers/ wine/ cocktails to enjoy with dinner or at the pool side.
On the first night we were followed from the main road leading to the hotel by three men, telling us that we were going the wrong way and this road was closed. They were trying to confuse us to then give us directions. We refused the help as we knew what they were trying to do. But the location at night was quite different and uncomfortable. There were lots of men waiting around to do this to tourists. It wasn’t well lit at all. So I could get customers lost. The men followed us up to the hotel and demanded money or we would ‘have a problem’
We explained what happened to the staff and they didn’t seem to take it that seriously or understand our concerns and anxiety.

Nous avons été très bien accueilli par l'équipe et avons eu quelques conseils utiles sur les endroits à visiter et les arnaques à éviter sur Marrakech. Le petit déjeuner était très bon et complet : une omelette, un jus, un thé, 2 sortes de crêpes, du pain avec pâte à tartiner, confitures et fromage. La chambre était confortable et propre. Nous avions prévenu notre arrivée avant le checkin donc nous étions prêtes à attendre et avons été servi du thé et notre chambre a été préparé très rapidement et n'avons presque pas attendu.
Le riad comme la plupart des riads n'est pas accessible en voiture, notre taxi nous a déposé sur la place Bab Doukkala et de là, nous avons marché même pas 10mins. L'adresse exacte ainsi que le riad n'est pas indiqué sur Google Maps mais il suffit de suivre l'adresse du 143 rue Derb Jdid et le riad se trouve juste en face dans une petite ruelle en cul de sac. Il n'y a aucune indication du nom du riad sur le chemin ou même sur la porte d'entrée.

La prise en charge du personnel était super l’accueil aussi chaque demande a toujours été prise en compte , et on remercie beaucoup abdalla pour sa sécurité et bien vaillance en vers le personnel et surtout ça gentillesse !!!

From the airport taxi dropped us somewhere and told guy ( -hes my friend) to lead us to riad. It was suspicious , he was leading us in small alleys and we didint liked it cuz he asked for helping money… Three-four guys standing and asking for money.

Le patio extérieur et la gentillesse du personnel.
Nous sommes partis avant la fin du séjour. La chambre était minuscule et donnait sur la réception , sombre, et humide. Nous avons demandé à changer, on nous a répondu qu' il n y avait pas d autres chambres disponibles, alors que le site en proposait et après avoir insisté , on nous a proposé une chambre plus grande mais en payant 1000 dirams. ( nous sommes Genus chez Booking, je pense qu'ils ne jouent pas le jeu des reductions et nous ont donné une chambre invendable)Nous avons préféré perdre une nuit. Dans les requêtes, il serait bien de mettre à disposition un petit plan, pour le trajet dans la médina, avec quelques repères. Le prix du petit déjeuner nous paraît prohibitif, aux vues des tarifs proposés ailleurs.

Instalaciones Preciosas y personal súper educado y amable, pero todo se echa a perder con la ubicación. No merece la pena para el miedo que pasas entre callejones hasta llegar al Riad.
La ubicación, pésima, hace que todo lo precioso que es el Riad no merezca la pena. A no ser que vayas a Marrakech solo a estar en la habitación, entonces si. La gente se te pega, si estás perdido te acompañan aunque no quieras solo para después pedirte dinero. Si la ubicación fuese algo mejor, no se perdería todo el mundo.

Limpio y muy bien decorado, y sus trabajadores súper amable
Ir de noche por la Medina hasta llegar al hotel no es agradable, da un poco de miedo.

No me gustó nada, las fotos engañan, lo único bonito es la piscina.
La peor ubicación, no sale ni en el GoogleMaps, está en la peor zona de marrakech me aloje solo 1 día, además la carta para desayunar y comer es Carísimo. Pone SPA pero de spa no tiene nada, hice un Hamman(básico de 20e) y fue el peor que e probado y además me querían cobrar 50e por un Hamman que no hice, lógicamente quieren probar si cuela y no son nada amables. No saben español ni un poco. Mi recomendación es que no elijáis este Riad miente muchísimo la foto… y la plaza jemma l-fna está a 20/25 min andando en adoquines y mala zona.

Tout était très beau. Le personnel est très gentil et accueillant. Les chambres sont belles. Peu être un petit peu sombre. Les espaces communs sont magnifiques et très calmes. Il est très facile d’y accéder. Tout était vraiment parfait en plus nous n’avions pas payé cher. Je recommande !!!:)

Clean well maintained riad with a spa size pool. Staff were very friendly and willing to help. Modern decor, so presents as much a hotel as a traditional riad in Marrakech. Breakfasts are quite good and the one dinner we got was exceptional, hospitable, clean.

le RIAD était vraiment magnifique,décoré avec beaucoup de goût !! Notre chambre était splendide. Sans parler du personnel qui était vraiment adorable et très serviable. Je reviendrai avec grand plaisir et recommande cette établissement, les yeux fermés.

En el baño había shampoo, gel de ducha, leche corporal, pads de algodón, secador de pelo, bata. Las almohadas y el colchón cómodos.
La ubicación es mala, a 20 minutos del centro. No está señalizado. Cuando llegamos a la ubicación que nos marcaba google maps nos encontramos en un callejón oscuro, sin ningún letrero identificando al hotel.

Property is just as shown in pictures ‘ BEAUTIFUL!
Rooms are very clean and neat . Did not spend much time at the riad but the staff from all the shifts went above and beyond to fulfill my needs. Their tea is exceptional.
I do not plan to write a bad review , this is just for solo traveler reference… Inside the riad was another world but getting to the riad was very difficult experience as a solo traveler i do not recommend. In order to get to the riad you have to walk 7 minutes through various interconnected alleyways going through a market and other nearby neighborhoods … i felt overwhelmed by men and even kids that often followed me along those alleyways asking questions and if you seemed lost (which i did most of the time because if its not with google maps it is a very hard to find location ) claiming they work for the riad and that they can help you find it but at the end they just wanted to ask for money.
I made the riad aware of the uncomfortable situation they realized how scared i was and acknowledged that it was not a safe situation and luckily they were able to get me a driver that will pick me up out in the main road and walk me back to the riad if i come late night. I had to scratch off most of my night activities because of this issue ,This was a very scary and insecure experience since this is a completely different country to me and you never know what others are up to.
And yea if it wasn’t for the hotel helping me with that driver . Finding a taxi in the main road was another level because its a very busy and congested areas but more like a bus terminal and no one wanted to drive you to Medina.
Riad is beautiful so if you go with a partner and are willing to experience all the above mentioned, GO ! The place and staff are worth the scary moments.
And yea also didn’t like that upon arrival you are welcome with water and tea . But at the end of your stay they charge you for it .

Step out of the side streets lined with stalls to a very tranquil riad that is tastefully decorated and equipped by very attentive and friendly staff. Couldn’t have asked for more from our stay in Marrakesh!
Nothing - but best to download offline version of Google maps to navigate the side streets but after a day or so you’ll find your way back without needing it.
ADVICE: Do not listen to men trying to ‘help’ guide you back to the riad - they tried it on with us telling us the roads were closed due to the mosque but just ignore them, they will only try take you on a lap of the side streets only to ask for money when they deliver you to the riad via the long way round. The owner of the riad was very apologetic and offered to pay the man for us- so sweet of him! We didn’t allow him to but very nice gesture, either way.

The decor was beautiful. It was traditional but modern. I loved the pool area very lovely and chic.
The staff were amazing,honest and accommodating. They helped us in every way possible.
I had a massage done and it was great.
The manager was nice also.
A big special thank you to the reception staff. Emad and also the lady at day time. Really caring people. Made our visit that extra special.
Please do not let the bad review of a few people stop you from visiting this place. If you respect the rules of the hotel, you will have no issues at all. So please do give them a chance.

The location was a bit difficult to get to and from. We learnt the route very quickly 5 minutes from main road however no taxi can drop you off outside the riad as its alley way like roads

The location of the riad is not clearly marked by any sign, so you end up in a dark street wondering if you are in the correct place or not.
We had dinner at the riad and they only had chicken-lemon tajine, they served one of the chickens totally cold and our surprise came when we paid 15€ for each of the tajines… it’s a crazy amount of money for what we got!

Thé location, as it is in the city centre, very close to many bazars and restaurants. The swimming pool was working and in the Riad the temperature was normal.

A welcoming peaceful sanctuary in the Medina. incredibly polite and helpful staff. there’s a small courtyard pool, hammam, sun terrace and restaurant. would highly recommend this Riad. thank you everyone at the Riad Sokera
getting there has lots of winding backstreets but it’s worth it and you get the gist pretty quickly

overpriced. location very isolated. very loud as you hear everything. rooms do not have separation meaning you have to use the the bathroom/toilet in front of your room mate. w lan really bad in the rooms

The venue itself is cute and the people working there really nice. however it’s way to much overpriced for what and especially where it is located. lovely place but overpriced!
you can hear literally everything happening within the building so it’s not very comfortable and very often you get disturbed. also that there was no breakfast included for such a high price (650 for a single room for 5 days) is questionable. no pick up and the location is literally in the middle of nowhere even googlemaps does not find the little streets and we arrived in the dark on top.
