Roll out of bed and lounge on the sunny secluded deck as you get ready for your day at the beach or the pool. This unit offers a full, wonderfully stocked kitchen, luxurious bath linens and super cozy beds. With a king, two twins, and a sleeper sofa with upgraded mattress, a great night’s sleep after your day on this perfect island is sure to beckon. The MI Happy Place Island Resort (formerly Garden Villas) features new ownership and management with exciting amenities and upgrades that combine to make a beautiful, convenient, and relaxing location even better! The resort is perfectly located directly across from the Manatee Public Beach, just steps from the wonderfully clean white sands of Anna Maria Island. MI Happy Place Island Resort includes a fabulous full size heated pool with a spacious 30 x 40 foot pool deck and a covered grilling area with a gas grill. It's a perfect spot to gather in the evenings after a lazy day at the beach. Every unit offers a variety of beach amenities as well – chairs, wagon, umbrella, and more. The resort amenities will make your Anna Maria Island vacation relaxing and enjoyable for a quick trip or an extended stay. The lush, beautifully landscaped resort oasis is ideally located close to the beach, nearby eateries, and shopping. Walk to the Cafe on the Beach, Skinny’s Place, the West Coast Surf Shop, and more. The Island Centre Shopping area, also within walking distance, serves all of your shopping needs including groceries, eateries, and specialty shops. If you want to explore more, simply hop on and off the free trolley all day everyday - just across the street. We rented three of the four cottages for a family of 9. The cottages and location were absolutely breath taking! A few steep to your right and you were on the beach, we you can play sand volleyball, enjoy a sunset, collect seashells (mornings are the best) or enjoy a pina colada at the Tiki Bar. A few steps to your left and you will find grocery store (reasonable priced), liquor store, Walgreens, and some cute store fronts. We took advantage of the free trolly at the beach and visited both end of the Island. Bridge Street, located on the bay side had great restaurants and variety of shops. We saw multiple dolphins on the pier. The house had everything we need and more, the beds were very comfortable and enough seating for a family gathering. We ate dinner outside and BBQ’s a few times during our stay. We didn’t need to rent any chairs or umbrella for the beach. We loaded up the wagon (was provided) with the cooler, chairs, umbrella, volleyball, and football and headed to the beach to enjoy the soft white sand. We enjoyed the pool daily! It was a nice spot to hang out together, play water games, sunbath, hang out in the hammocks, or play card games while enjoying the beautiful view. We hope to come back and fill the fourth house with more families members.

Had another great stay. When we arrived our code didn’t work and it was after hours but I called and was given a new code right away. Easy peasy! Place felt very clean. Love the location and pool. Only complaint is it got hot when sleeping at night (but it is Florida 🤷♀️) and the ceiling fan in the bedroom with 2 beds clicks making it hard for me to sleep. (Light sleeper here) Luckily only slept in there a few nights when my 4 year old wanted me to- didn’t seem to effect her sleep any. Loved being a short walk to Publix- very convenient. Also all the beach items provided were a huge help! Never could’ve carried all our stuff and a baby without the wagon! Would stay again :)

We had a great stay! Wonderfully landscaped area, felt like our own tropical oasis. Our kids enjoyed the pool everyday. Appreciated the little touches, like all the beach décor of the place and the outdoor patio furniture. Neighbors at other rental spaces super friendly. I would recommend and stay again =)

Only a walk across a street to Manatee Beach, 2 blocks from Publix and Pharmacy, less than 2 miles walk or bike to multiple restaurants.
Amenities were great, multiple beach chairs, umbrellas and wagon were very nice bene's. Pool was heated located just next to our unit, spacious yard for our dog, spacious parking adjacent to our unit.
Furnishings were good, comfortable king size bed, pull out couch well used...could be updated...cushions lost their firmness. Ample supply of extra USB ports in bedrooms and living area.
Decent supply of house supplies, but toilet paper was only a partial roll...should have at least a full roll.
Overall....a very nice place...a duplex but felt like a single unit home, thankful didn't have to go multiple floors, and access to pool, parking and yard space was ideal....
Definitely a come back place!

The property was very nice. Location to the beach was great and having the wagon and chairs and umbrella to use was such a nice extra. The pool was nice, just steps away from our cottage. The only issue we had was not having a blind in our kitchen window but the owner happened to be there and put one in for us right away. We will be back

We had a wonderful family vacation during the Christmas season at MI Happy Place. While I have been to Florida many time, this was the first to AMI and we will definitely be back. MI Happy Place was perfect for your family getaway. Excellent location on the Island. I would recommend some general maintenance. The air conditioner ran extremely loud. Not sure if this is due to the age of the air conditioner or if it just need some up keep. I would also say that our Sea Horse units kitchen cabinets are showing age. Some of the doors didn't close all the way and its just time for a refresh/update. Our family rented 3 of the 4 units and between us a few of the beach umbrellas were broken and unusable and the beach chairs are very rusty. I would recommend investing in new umbrellas and chairs yearly. Overall this is an excellent property and we will be back.

We stayed in the Sea Horse @ MI Happy Place for our 1st week, then had to move to the Sand Castle for our next two weeks. This place is awesome and so conveniently located to all stores needed and the best part is the beach is right across the street. The pool was kept very clean and is heated at a comfortable temp. Each unit is furnished with everything you need, included beach wagons, toys, chairs & umbrellas. We had many cool days & nights and it was nice to have cozy blankets to snuggle up with. Someday we hope to return to Mi Happy Place.

We really enjoyed our stay at mi happy place sea horse. This unit provided us what we needed. Comfortable, clean and great location. The bathroom can use little update but was good and clean. It did get but Essen but AC and fans working together did the trick. The pool was great! Would definitely stay again.
