Nestled in Bradenton Beach, this charming house for $604 per night is a great option for your next break. VRC 16-000569 The Valhalla upstairs unit, located at 3216 Gulf Drive in Holmes is a wonderful three bedroom, two bath Gulf front duplex on a secluded beach. While the Valhalla is tucked away in a quiet area, it is within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. The location is perfect! The large covered deck is a perfect spot to enjoy the beach views, watch for dolphins playing in the surf and to experience the sunsets! The Valhalla will comfortably sleep seven with a king size bed, three twin beds and a sofa bed in the living room. Upgrades include all new furnishings and bedding. Extras include a fireplace, BBQ grill and stereo. There is a 50" flat screen TV in the living room as well as a 22” TV in the master bedroom and a 19” TV in the second bedroom. There is a washer and dryer in the unit. Located on a pristine and secluded beach area, the Valhalla is a perfect Anna Maria Island rental retreat. This unit can easily be rented in conjunction with the downstairs unit for groups up to twelve. For groups up to 21, consider the Tiki next door as well! As the name suggests, the Valhalla really is heaven! The Valhalla is a one week minimum rental. One small pet is allowed with a $150.00 non-refundable pet fee. Parking is limited to three vehicles Please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property

Clean living quarters, plenty of room for our family! Only a few minor points that could be improved: nothing that would prevent us from reverting again. grill grates were rust abs the kitchen amenities could be improved. We had to buy a few things at the dollar store (Pot holders for example).

We sat for hours watching the waves, birds, and sky. Perfect sized home for us and we had all we needed. Loved having 2 coffee makers. The beds were soft and comfy. It was quiet at night. Overall perfect and was hard to leave.

WOW! I loved everything about this property, the view, the location, everything. My family was very happy with the property as well. We’ve stayed at other properties this summer that did not meet any of our expectations and this one out did itself. We will definitely be booking again next year for our family vacation.

Second time in this property. The price goes up year over year but the house is in very poor condition. Peeling paint, very dirty throughout, broken ceramic tile, missing towel bars, shower door held closed by tape, wall paneling bowing and mildew smell. Very disappointed in the overall experience of paying so much for such a run down property. The location on the beach is perfect which is what made it bearable. We didn't spend that much time in the house as compared to the outdoor time. The covered deck is great and the views are amazing.

We stayed at Valhalla on Gulf Dr which is Gulf front. We really enjoyed the view. We took so many pictures of the sunset. We brought my mother in law who does not go to the beach much anymore for her birthday. She sat out on the beach since it was so close. The unit was very clean and had recent updates of appliances and furnishings. We had a wonderful time !

Location, Location, Location. Property is ON the beach, about as close as you can be. No need for a cooler because you can literally go to the kitchen to grab a cold beverage. If you want to explore a car is nice but if all you want is a beach vacation everything is in walking distance. Groceries, Walgreens, alcohol, select restaurants, coffee shop, hardware store, beach rentals are ALL walking distance. Your patch of beach is essentially private, always an area for you out front. Furnishings are nice, washer/dryer is great, condition of unit is older. Some paint is pealing. Bathrooms are nice but water pressure in guest bath is bad, master pressure is GREAT. Rent house nextdoor and unit below for large group, would be perfect.

Location was perfect, the house was clean except from the outside furniture. The kitchen was not very professional equipped. No water boiler, no waste disposal. Shower-door could not been closed and wifi was not working, so was the telephone.

My family has been vacationing on Anna Maria Island for the past 16 years. We've only stayed in houses on the gulf side and right on the beach so we have lots of experience with spotting the best locations. We've stayed in houses from Bean Point down to Holmes Beach and just south of where Manatee Ave comes into the island. By far, this beach cottage is in a section of beach that is the most private. You will always find places to sit on the beach without people right on you. When standing on the beach and looking to the right or left, you see the masses of people all jammed together on the beach. There is a very large sand bar off the island in this location that makes the water very shallow about 50 yards out from the beach. At low tide, the water only comes up to your knees out that far. Now for the beach house. It is good size for up to 6 people and overall in okay condition. There is really nasty carpeting in the bedrooms that makes you want to wear shoes to walk on. Paint is peeling in several rooms. The kitchen cabinets are getting pretty beat up and knobs are falling off the drawers. And the master bath is in desperate need of a refresh. The design of the master bath shower is such that when you open the door to turn on the shower, water shoots out of the door opening and onto the floor of the bathroom. The shower head can't be positioned to avoid this. Having said this, the house is in about the same condition of any of the other 7 houses we've rented over the years. Every year, the prices go up for these rentals. I just wish that the cottages would be refreshed yearly which would make the trip that much more enjoyable. We would stay in this house again in the future if we make the trip again. The location simply cannot be beat. Walk to the beach house cafe for pancakes or a cocktail, or to the plaza behind the house for coffee, ice cream, or drug store needs. The deck on the house is the best part. The deck boards have been replaced with composite boards. No splinters here! There is nothing blocking your view of the gulf and you have 180 degrees view of paradise. The deck is plenty large enough for 8 or more people and the furniture is in decent shape. Just a little dirty but we cleaned it up on arrival. Could use a ceiling fan for those times when the breeze is coming from the east. Without a breeze, you'll get eaten alive by the "noseeums" at night. I love the refund policy that VRBO offers just in case you need it.
