Basic, clean and very quiet overnight, with helpful, friendly staff, excellent pub meals, and the convenience of Woolies directly opposite . Easy parking.The meal at the pub was great — generous, tasty, and excellent value for a budget stay
A reading lamp would be a helpful addition for guests who like to read at night. As a solo traveller, I would also appreciate an option for an extra security feature on the door — even a simple chain — although the self‑locking door worked reliably.
The curtains didn’t sit flush, which allowed light in at night; adding velcro or small magnets could help them close more securely.
The spare blanket was clean but had noticeable hair on it, enough to be worth mentioning.
