We loved the traditional, historic character of the room - furnished with antiques and with a balcony overlooking the village and valley - which felt very much in keeping with its village setting. The guesthouse has a series of rooms entered from an attractive courtyard.
Communication with the host, Rania, was very simple via WhatsApp and she was able to answer our queries very quickly.
Rania, shortly before we arrived, also provided us with a video showing the access route to the property which was helpful. There is a small public parking area off the main road. From this it’s a short walk from the Guesthouse up a cobbled/stepped lane.
We enjoyed Stemnitsa itself: having fewer facilities than Demitsana, it also felt more local and less focussed on tourists.

Excellent location off the main road in Stemnitsa. We were able to park at the public lot in front of the hotel and walk up the steps to the building. Beautiful view from the balcony off our bedroom. And great, traditional interior. Convenient to the bakery and restaurants in the town square
Difficult to find at first since it is up the steps from the main road. Locals helped us.

The traditionally decorated, spotless room. The beautiful outdoor seating areas. The location is stunning as this picturesque town has so much to explore and delicious food to try.
