The view is amazing and the location suitably remote. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Interior design is very scandinavian chic and the panoramic window is a great way to enjoy the fjord and mountain views despite of the weather!

Only thing missing was a coffee maker. There was a Nespresso machine but as heavy coffee drinkers it wasn’t quite to our taste.

We liked the quietness, scenery and space to be on our own outside. It was even better than hoped for and expected. In addition there were plenty of comfort and beauty to enjoy inside the house, Easy to be in dialogue with the host. Plenty of possibilities for hiking and walks in short (and long) driving distance.

If you want to travel a lot to and from The red fjordhouse, it takes time because of poor road quality. If you want to see more of the area - stay for more days. We would have liked a few more days:)

The surrounding is stunning and quiet!
