The apartment was very nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. It is literally steps from the Old Town. Also, plenty of really good restaurants close by. The air conditioning worked well and the Internet worked well. The kitchen was wonderful. The Air Conditioning worked well. Also, there is a bus stop to the left that has a bus right to the Train station.
I want to put this “negative“ comment in proper context. To get to the apartment you need to go through a gate, that cars also use. The gate leads to a long alleyway. The very first part of it has some trash cans that are utilized by restaurants. It can be a bit smelly, but it’s not a big deal. For us, the bigger challenge was actually finding the apartment.
What you have to do is go all the way to the end of the alley and through just a little wire gate and then go upstairs to the second floor and that’s where the apartment is. We found it thanks to the assistance of one of the residents that has a home along the alleyway.
The host will give you a code to get in the door of the apartment. But the keypad is not readily visible. Just touch the area above the door handle and, if you look very closely, you’ll see a keypad illuminate in the area you touched. That’s where you put the entry code. That’s also the way you lock it when you leave. So when it’s a sunshiny day, you’ve literally got to cover the door handle with your body to be able to see the keypad. But once you get used to it, it’s really not a big deal.
