This was one of my favorite ever places to stay. Punta Punta is an oasis of tranquility, away from the busy General Luna, yet perfectly accessible by scooter. The views from my room otherworldly- the sunrises, the palm trees and the waves. The boho-style room and bathroom are absolutely beautiful, yet perfectly comfortable. The most beautiful sunset on Catangan Beach is just a short ride away. All the staff is beyond wonderful- they kindly organized a scooter rental for me and helped me get started, they booked me a wonderful surf lesson and the food from the restaurant is incredible. I met so many wonderful people here even though I was traveling solo. I absolutely loved Punta Punta and cannot wait to be back. 10000/10 recommended, my favorite place to stay!

Perfect spot with an unbeatable location and seriously outstanding food—I didn’t have a single bad meal. Everything on the menu was incredible, huge credit to the chef and kitchen team. The warm, genuine hospitality really made my week!

Staff, location, outdoor shower and food
Paid for an Ocean View Room, did not get it. There should be a lesser price to pay for a room that is not ocean view at all, it was tree and reception and garden view at best.
Asked to be moved to the 'actual' ocean view room when we saw the occupants had checked out, was told no.
The 2 stars is for the premise of booking this retreat in the first place, for the ocean view that is pictured on their booking.com page. Did not recieve the view at all.

Food and staff were fantastic though.
I suggest you update your pictures and then adjust the pricing of the non ocean view rooms accordingly.
Rooms do not include coffee or fridges which I consider ludicrous for the the prices being paid.
There are often Brownouts where the power cuts off, when this happens Punta Punta has a generator but it is not sufficient in size to power the Air Conditioners in the rooms, I suggest you upscale them to power the ACs for your guests as we were left with no AC for nearly the whole first day of the stay.
