We liked that the location of the hotel was near Taipei station metro. This made going around and sightseeing quite easy. The room was decently sized and there was ample space for all of us (2 adults, a toddler, and an infant). Breakfast was decent and had a good enough selection that changed everyday, which was what we liked.
The bathroom in our room constantly smelled of cigarette smoke and no amount of spraying from our end helped in making it go away. The AC in the room was stuck at a permanent 22* and there was no way to make it colder or warmer, the controls didn’t seem to be working. Lastly, the hotel did not provide any extra towels, if we wanted extra we would be charged NTD 300/ day. This was surprising as they did not consider a toddler part of the number of people included in the room.
