The family room was nice. Bed and bed sheets were clean. Toilet was clean. Location was wonderful. Would definitely re-book when in Taiwan again.
Overall, 9.5 stars
Building is old, but I am just nitpicking.
It is a nice place to stay, right across the station and lots of food options nearby. MRT station is also nearby.

Big room in good location

The location is convenient, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the rates are reasonable.
The room is too small, and there is an unpleasant odor.

Excellent location right across the street from the Taipei main station. Convenient taxi stand just outside the Asia Plaza Tower building - the Brown House Hotel is on the 26th floor of this building. It is right next to the Mitsukoshi department store that has a good food court in the basement and the second floor of the Taipei train station has lots of restaurant options. There is a Family Mart convenience store next to the entrance of the Asia Plaza Tower building. And, taking the MRT from the airport to the Taipei Main Station is very easy.
If I had to find something I didn’t like it would be that the check-in time of 3 PM is strictly observed. If you have a very early morning arrival, I would recommend booking an extra night on the front end so that your room will be available for early check-in. Otherwise, the Brown House Hotel is an excellent choice for its convenient location, super helpful staff, and really comfortable beds.
