Good stay but not a 4* hotel.

Beds were comfortable and big , also good pressure at shower and hot water. Nice staff and easy to communicate. Rooms are soundproof and Internet works well. Good vegan/ vegetarian breakfast.

Small hotel and sometimes you don’t have enough space to eat breakfast. Pigeon poop all over the balcony and pigeons kooing a lot which can get super annoying. Hotel staff took our personal towel and we only realized when we left. Also many people that go to that hotel are noisy and don’t know how to behave ( talk on the phone on hallways , talk loud in the rooms late at night).

Safe, comfortable and didn't have to worry about anything (busses, food, taxis, info)

The staff are lovely. They booked taxis for me and packed me breakfast for when i had to leave early in the morning. The upstairs restaurant food is great (the Momos are amazing). They also booked me the best tourist bus to Pokhara. The upstairs bar is nice too and is open late, Robin does a great job up there.

Overrated

The hotel was correct, nothing more. I think it's a little overrated in the reviews. Be careful if you try to hire any extra service with them, we asked them for driver services for a week, and the truth is that we had a lot of problems. The driver tried to trick us several times, and was quite unpleasant. Don't be fooled by these people, look for another more trustworthy hotel. Above all, watch your wallet, they are scammers.

Slightly overrated and overpriced

The interior was lovely and the breakfast varied and was tasty.

I didn't like the unclean shower. The thin walls and very used, but clean sheets and towels. Unfortunately, the locker at the door to the balcony could not be closed, which made the nights noisy.

Exceptional,more than we expected !

Hotel is located in Tamel a good area for shopping,restaurants and bars. It is a new hotel very well maintened with nice interior design and very clean. The roof top terrace is also a good place for a coffee or drink something. Breakfast with variety of good food.Staff very friendly and helpful. It was a very nice surprise when we reached the hotel,it is looking much more better than in the pictures.

the facilities were amazing and the food was great

the showers flooded in all our rooms, one light didn’t turn off at night, one room had no door handle on toilet, lack of toilet paper

Superb staff, gorgeous room and lovely bar with superb views over the city.

The top floor suite, 801 is super

The shower water pressure and temperature control is t great but that’s a tiny worry.

Warm, welcoming, comfortable hotel in a great location!

Really close to Thamel and other attractions. Easy to walk wherever you need. Really clean property. The staff are so warm, welcoming, and very helpful. Property is just off the main road but is really quiet. Highly recommend!

Good hotel

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Beds were comfortable. Shower pressure good, water hot.

Our room did not have a proper window, the window space was filled with glass block, we could not see out of the room, we could not open the window, and it did not let much light in. Because of this it felt claustrophobic. However, We did have a proper window that looked into the hallway. Maybe when building they got the instructions reversed.

Fantastic experience.

Firstly Arushi Hotel has a beautiful interior design with many features such as a gym, restaurant (which is really pretty) and a pool. The customer service was also amazing, everyone was helpful and kind. Despite breakfast opening at 7am they packed us breakfast as we needed to leave at 6:30am.

Is like being home in Nepal

Comfortable location, comfortable bed, good sized and well designed rooms, I had one with the balcony and a lovely rooftop restaurant and Bar. But what I liked mostly were the staff, starting from the hotel owner Ram the receptionist Apsara the guards and the great people who works at the rooftop. Feels like a family hotel with the luxury of the west.

Excellent, great value hotel

Excellent location, in the heart of Thamel but back from the street, with a great value laundry on the corner. Fabulous rooftop restaurant with great views - very pretty with super friendly bar staff. Food was fabulous - the chicken biryani was amazing. Rooms were modern & spacious and daily housekeeping was excellent. Unfortunately during our stay we became ill & the hotel staff Anjan & Absara were fantastic. Medical service they called was first class.

Spacious, clean, nice rooftop terrace restaurant with super friendly staff. Well kept, good location.

Somewhat mediocre Breakfast. “Pool” isn’t exactly one - rather a jacuzzi sized tub. No recliners or anything available.

Amazing and my choice of hotel in future Kathmandu trips.

Breakfast buffet was good and nice to have freshly squeezed juice every day. Rooms were clean and large, very comfortable beds. Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Just off the main street so a bit quieter but close to everything. Bonus was a laundry on the corner of the street with same day service. Hotel staff very obliging and will happily take money to exchange for you.

Another great stay at Kathmandu's hidden gem of a hotel.

Arushi remains our favourite place to stay in Kathmandu, hands-down. Brilliant location on the edge of Thamel: close enough that all of Thamel is a short walk away, but that the hotel itself is not located on the noisy main thoroughfare, ensuring a peaceful stay and quiet nights. The staff are incredibly helpful, and the food excellent. The rooftop bar is quiet (usually only populated by hotel guests) but has the best view of any of the bars we have visited in the city. This was our second trip to Nepal, and we will be booking for our many intended future trips over the coming years.

Lovely rooms. Sumptuous breakfast spread. Helpful and courteous staff. Loved the location the most. Enjoyed going for walks and got to explore actual Kathmandu :)
