Top floor units have vaulted ceilings in the master bedroom and dining/living room areas - giving them a more open, roomier feel. A wall of windows allows for a great view of the mountains looking from the inside out. Climb the spiral staircase to the sleeping loft. Take in the amazing views from the deck which also has a vaulted ceiling! Relax in our beautiful, fully furnished home away from home. We are located in Echota on the Ridge in the small town of Foscoe, North Carolina, just minutes from Boone, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock and Valle Crucis. The Blue Ridge Parkway, Grandfather Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad, Linville Falls/Caverns and the Original Mast General Store are all just a short drive away. Enjoy the cooler temperatures during June, July and August while everyone else is sweltering. The surrounding mountains turn into a patchwork quilt of oranges, reds, yellows and browns as Mother Nature transitions from summer to fall. Winter activities abound at Hawksnest Snow Tubing or one of the local ski resorts - Appalachian, Sugar Mountain or Beech Mountain. When we say top of the mountain, we mean the TOP of the mountain! Echota on the Ridge is beautifully situated atop the ridgeline where the views are as unforgettable as the memories! Located on 97 scenic acres, this gated community features breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Take in the spectacular ridge-top views from our spacious 2 bedroom / 2 bath condo. The unit will comfortably sleep up to 6 people. The master bedroom has a king-size bed with an ensuite bathroom (tub/shower combo), plus direct access to the deck! The guest suite includes a bedroom with a queen-size bed and adjoining bathroom (tub/shower combo). The suite can be closed off from the rest of the unit for added privacy. Both bedrooms are equipped with flat screen TVs and Roku / Netflix for your enjoyment. Loft area features 2 twin beds. Perfect for letting the kids unwind and be kids. Relax in the Family Room and watch your favorite TV show or movie on the 42-inch flat screen HDTV - cable and DVD player are provided for your pleasure. Enjoy music from the local radio stations or your favorite CDs with our deluxe sound system - outside deck speakers allow you to listen to music as you sit on the deck and gaze out across the mountain ridges. After a busy day of exploring the High Country, warm up in front of our stacked-stone gas fireplace with a glass of wine or cup of hot cocoa. In addition, you will find a great selection of Family / Kid DVDs, board games and books to use during your visit. Stay connected to the web with our secure Wi-Fi. Whether cooking in or ordering carry-out, our dining set will comfortably seat 6 with additional seating at the breakfast bar. If you like to cook, you will find all the essentials necessary to put together a culinary delight for you and your guests. But we saved one of the best features for last - our DECK! Enjoy the breath-taking, panoramic mountain views as you relax and unwind in one of our Adirondack gliders. A table, benches and electric grill are also available on the deck for alfresco dining. An indoor pool and fitness center is located in the Echota Clubhouse (a quick five-minute drive away) or it’s just a short walk to the beautiful Echota on the Ridge Clubhouse (it's absolutely gorgeous). The Clubhouse is the perfect place to play a game of pool, swim in the outdoor pool, workout on the exercise equipment, connect to the free internet, or just sit and enjoy the many comforts while reading a book or watching the big screen TV. You will certainly enjoy your stay at our second home and we'll bet you'll want to visit again real soon. We had the best time staying here this weekend! We had everything we needed and more! We spent our days snow skiing at Sugar Mountain, hiking to see Linville Falls & enjoying the Linville Falls Winery. At night we would enjoy a cup of coffee and watch Netflix movies! It’s the perfect location to do all the things! We even got to see a little snow before we left to head back home! We really enjoyed our stay and plan to hopefully come back! I highly recommend! 😁

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and cozy condo. The condo was spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable. My grandkids really enjoyed the indoor pool and the kids loft. Everything you could need and more is provided. The coffee bar and the fresh baked cookies on arrival were such a treat. The view is amazing. We will definitely be back. This is our second stay in this unit and our 8th stay in this development. This is by far the best condo. It is beautiful, immaculately clean, comfortable, well stocked kitchen and has many other extras too numerous to mention. Owner is so accommodating and easy to work with. I rented this cabin for my parents because every year they love to drive up and look at the color of the leaves as they change. They absolutely loved it here and couldn't get over the view on the back deck. Helene was a wonderful host and was always easy to communicate with. My wife and I have stayed here as well and had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend this place!

This home was everything you see in the pictures and even more. My family and I spent a week here and couldn’t get enough the incredible view from the living room and master bedroom. All of the seasonal decor and cozy blankets were greatly appreciated.
The baked goods was the cherry on top.

The space was very well taken care of! Very clean and I loved all the fall decorations! Helene was a great host. I needed to reschedule this trip twice, and both times she was very accommodating. I also appreciated how well stocked the place was. My 3 year old spilled chocolate milk on her favorite pajamas, and I had to throw them in the wash to salvage the evening. I don’t typically do laundry when I travel, but at this moment, I was very grateful there was detergent and fabric softener available. The views were incredible - I especially enjoyed watching the sunrise each morning. Overall, this was a great and cozy place to return to after a day of exploring the high country. Thank you for sharing your home with us! Look forward to returning in the future!

After a long day of touring a nearby college and the area, we thoroughly enjoyed this home. Beautifully decorated for Fall and welcoming touches with extensive coffee bar and chocolate chip cookies. We enjoyed the reclining couch and chair with fireplace and TV. The view is amazing - we ate dinner on the porch to take it all in! The kitchen is well stocked - I prepared dinner and breakfast and found all I needed. Would return again.

Helene & Mike made our stay extra special! The entire home is decorated to perfection! From the warm Blankets, to the bedding - the accommodations are exceptional. There were MANY little touches that you don't find in rental properties! i.e. homemade cookies, birthday decorations, a fully stocked coffee/tea bar, special lotions, soaps, candles and more! You won't be disappointed!

When you stay here you don’t feel like you are in a rental home, it feels like a friend is letting you stay at their house. High quality amenities, the towels were soft, bedding was very nice and comfortable, and we loved the coffee bar and baked goods! The seasonal home decor just goes to show how much the host cares. Incredible views and a great place to make memories with family and friends. We will definitely be back!

While we only were there for one night, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Helene and Mike’s place. It was spotlessly clean, well stocked, and welcoming. The beds were comfortable with good pillows. The cookies were a nice surprise. The community is great and the club house and pool looked beautiful. We hope to come back again and enjoy them.

We were welcomed with homemade sweet treats! The condo was meticulously clean, well stocked with towels, shampoos, soap, spices, many extras not found in other rentals. Beds were very comfortable.
