About this house rental

Located in Millcreek, this charming house for $100 per night is a great choice for your next break. Our home is nice and cozy. We have 2 bedrooms each with a queen size bed. In the family room there is a comfortable pull out couch. There are extra pillows and blankets too. There is 1 full bath and a 1/2 bath. There is a washer and dryer with laundry soap for your convenience. There is a kitchen with dishes and other supplies that are need. We have individual oatmeal and cereal for your convenience. If you want more towels there are some in the hall closet. While you are staying here there are grocery stores very nearby. Smith's grocery store is just half a mile east on 45th South. We are about 30 minutes to the mountains for skiing or hiking, about 15 minutes to downtown for Utah Jazz, Temple Square, Eccles Theater, etc. Wi-Fi is included and you will have the home to yourself. We have a key pad entry for your convenience. Recent upgrades include a new clothes washer in 2020, new furnace and dishwasher in 2021, and upgrade to very fast/responsive Google Fiber Internet service in 2022. New carpet was just installed throughout the home in September 2022. We have a no smoking, illegal drugs or parties policy for the whole property. If you do there will be an added fee.

I really enjoyed the place. The location was actually really great. The price was very good. The kitchen worked very well for our smaller group, we only had 3 people there on thanksgiving day.

The home was very cozy and clean. Everything was provided for, from what would be needed in the kitchen to all linens and towels, including all laundry supplies. The hosts Kaylyn and Gary were exceptionally friendly and immediately addressed any and all issues within a timely manner. I know that when I make plans to go home again for another visit, I will definitely choose to stay in their home again.

This house felt like home the minute we arrived, more like visiting my parents' place than a vacation rental. There were plenty of clean linens, lots of ice in the freezer, spices and condiments on hand, and even paper products like plastic wrap in the drawers. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were equipped with charging stations and outlet extenders to make everything simple. They even added a blender when I requested one. Parking was easy and the neighborhood was quiet. We would gladly stay here again!!

The owner left linen in the dryer and we were given the wrong security code to get it so that was a problem and also the first day the owner came by and looked at the AC and did some yard work (felt like being spied on). Other than that the house was as advertised and good location.

We picked this spot because of its convenient location between the canyon and the city and it didn't disappoint. Quiet, clean and safe. Would stay again. Be advised the 3rd bed does not afford any privacy being in an open living room connected to the side entrance of the house but that's pretty customary of sofa beds. Just something to consider if you're traveling in a group of 3+.

We live staying at Kaylyn’s home. It has everything we need and is close enough to Liberty park to visit family in the area. The ski resorts are a short drive or the bus stations make it very convenient to get up the mountain to enjoy a day on the slopes. We will come again.

I was in SLC to ski and this property was perfect. Conveniently located between airport, canyons and close to stores and restaurants. Property is clean, plenty of hot water, comfy beds, and in a quiet neighborhood. Host was easy to contact and very responsive, I would not hesitate to stay here again.

This home is older, so I wasn’t expecting too much, and priced well below comparable properties, but I’m super glad we booked here for our ski trip. Furniture in the house is older but comfortable. New carpet through out though and well taken care of and areas were nice and clean and fairly spacious. We didn’t cook at all but kitchen was nice. 12 minutes from bottom of big cottonwood canyon to go skiing and less than that to down town SLC and restaurants and venues there. Especially for the price we couldn’t beat it and would stay here again for sure!

We found this home in good condition, very clean throughout, and with up-to-date appliances. We are old school so it took us about 10 minutes to figure out how to 'program' the new dishwasher. The best surprise was the bedroom with the 'moveable' bed, meaning you can raise the head of the bed &/or the foot of the bed. It also had a vibrating function, like a massage chair only this is the bed! The host is very responsive and answered text questions quickly. She obviously takes great pride in this home; while the location is an older property, obvious improvements (such as those listed above) bring a more contemporary feel. There was a nice backyard for our dogs; a word of caution though. The ground is actually very uneven; it was difficult to tell at first because the grass doesn't indicate the ridges and occasional depression of the ground underneath. That aside, I highly recommend this location. We are definitely going to try and reserve it for our next trip to Salt Lake.
