The staff and volunteers are all wonderful and make for a great vibe at the hostel. There is a fun community vibe without being a distinctly "party" or youth hostel. There were fun activities to participate in almost every day and it was easy to make friends. Easy walking distance to all the beaches and tourist spots while still being in a nice quiet street. The staff and volunteers keep the hostel very clean, and if you're lucky you'll get to hang out with the resident cats at night.
The bunks in the dorms are not really private; no screens, curtains, etc, so bare this in mind if it's something that matters to you.

Staff were excellent and accommodating. Room was simple but clean.
A fan or A/C would have been great, even to rent for the duration of the stay.

Well maintained and clean. A hostel that feels like home, all the staff are super friendly and loving. It was so easy to socialize and meet likeminded travelers. The hostel organizes events multiple times a week, which is a huge plus. If your hesitant, this is your sign to book. I had the best travel experience I ever!!
