The house was very clean and neighborhood was surprisingly quiet since majority of the houses are short term rentals. The golf cart was a life saver to get to the beach to avoid sand in your vehicle. Parking across the street at the Crab Trap was also convenient due to having bathrooms at the beach and food available if you forgot to pack. The E brake doesn’t work on the golf cart so you’ll have to park on south side of the parking lot to avoid it rolling back into the middle of the parking lot or use a chalk to block the back tire. The house had a umbrellas and tents (pretty worn down). I would recommend renting umbrellas and chairs at the beach with La Dolce Vita group so you don’t have drag items in the sand. Overall, clean house in a good location. House manger was very responsive. It’s expensive but definitely worth the money.

Positives- The property was in a beautiful gated neighborhood with easy beach access approx a 3/4 mile away. The golfcart was enjoyed by all and convenient for local driving. The home's interior is tastefully decorated with needed kitchen cookwear. There were also numerous beach toys, floats, coolers and a wagon plus several bikes for riding. The grill was used often.
The master br and bath was quite spacious and beautiful with a small balcony. There were several contacts with management and they were very quick to respond with efforts to resolve issues.
Negatives- The bunk room was very small and the other 2 bedrooms were small/avg. The kitchen had minimal dish towels or cloths and the ice maker ran out quickly plus jammed often. I did notice a huge, new ice maker in a box for future renters. The surround sound didn't work and despite maintenace trying to help to operate the master TV, we were very frustrated with the inability to watch TV easily or desired stations with ROKU. We all looked forward to swimming in what pictures portrayed to be a large swimming pool. The pool was not large, and water was so warm it was like sharing a bathtub with 25 other people. This was probably most disappointing of all. We went only 1 time and even the kids couldn't enjoy it.
My adult dtr and myself paid a large amount of money for our family's annual Fl vacation at this rental and felt the pictures of the size of both the house and pool were overstated.

We had a great time and plenty of room for seven (even had a spare bedroom)! Property was clean, everything was well-stocked and available, exactly as advertised. Previous guests left some pretty disgusting-smelling trash in the recycle bin when they left, but that’s no fault of the property owners (we came just before the trash takeout day). I hope others enjoy their stay as much as we did!

The home was beautiful, clean, and well-stocked. It truly felt like a home away from home. The beach is literally across the street from the subdivision and also has a community pool, fitness center and tennis courts. The golf cart and the bikes were also an added bonus. I will definitely recommend this property to family and friends when visiting Destin, FL.

Would've been 5 star but i didn't like that we wasn't able to check in to like 5:30 pm. Also pics show a small area to maybe fish from the back yard. It was all grown up but the neighbors was completely clean but he wouldn't allow anyone to fish from his spot. Other than that this home would've been 5 stars.

Overall a nice property with plenty of space for our family of 4. Well equipped with 6 person golf cart, bikes and beach equipment and proximity to beach was a 5 minute golf cart ride away. Awesome location in the heart of Destin minutes away from Baytown Wharf, Destin commons and the harbor. Only suggestion would be property owners and cleaning crew pay more attention to detail, cleanliness in certain areas were just ok and door handle in master bedroom fell off. Would recommend and return to this property.

This was a beautiful home for my family's 1st vacation to Destin. Very close to the beach and a short distamce from attractions.The home was very clean. Minor things, there were no batteries in one of the Tv remotes, tape around the the bathroom tub tile of the second floor bedroom should be repaired, and maybe replace the toilet seats. Awesome master bath! Other than that all instructions for check-in and check-out for simple. I'd return again.

This was perfect for our stay, we had 4 couples (8 people) come in town for a wedding, we were a short golf cart ride away from the venue, so that was perfect, and the location was very close to a public beach and plenty of things to do. The house was immaculate, super spacious and all of the rooms and beds were comfortable and nice. Overall very impressed, this house had a big hand in how enjoyable our stay was.
A few minor gripes:
1) It would've been nice to receive the codes to enter the property maybe the night before so we weren't sweating about whether we would be able to get in once our plane landed.
2) Xplorie emailed a lot, offering daily complimentary trips since we booked through this house, which is cool, except our link to the offered activities never worked, so taking advantage of those was never an option.
3) Upon arrival, there wasn't much for toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc. So we needed to buy the stuff we needed for our stay, which is fine but maybe mention that in the property details so people aren't assuming that stuff will be plentiful.

Overall , this was a good location and easy to access with close proximity to beach .
From this property, 1/4 mile to clubhouse and then a few blocks to beach…. Golf cart is huge and lots of beach supplies in garage ( bring your own beach towels)
Kitchen and bar very well equipped… for all Destin rentals, you get starter supplies, so be prepared to buy soaps, tp, paper towels and laundry supplies.
February is still a bit chilly and pool ( although beautiful) is not heated- small hot tub works great communication with property manager excellent

We enjoyed the short walk to the beach; Some took advantage of community hot tub. Short drive to stores and restaurants. Everything we needed was provided at the house. Even though the weather was not the best for outside activities we made use of the large living room for reading and watching Elf on Christmas Eve. The 10 seat dining table was perfect for family games each night.

We stayed here the week leading up to thanksgiving and the location was awesome! We had three under the age of 6 and we greatly appreciated the golf cart to get around the community, drive to the beach, and drive to local shops. Everything we needed was within a short distance. My husband and I run and we were able to run right from the door.
My only cons are that the first few days we were there the weather was cold and there weren’t any blankets available to snuggle with the kiddos. Also, there was no high chair for our baby so meals were tricky each day. Lastly, there were a few glass figures throughout downstairs and most all dishes were glass so if have little ones, it can be stressful worrying about them breaking something.
But the house is very spacious and definitely prepped for the beach - it included beach toys, chairs, a wagon, and toy cart. Would definitely recommend booking.

There are already so many helpful reviews listed for this property that I will not greatly expound.
Suffice to it to say, that unless you are extremely difficult to please, this property will be a great choice. It is near the beach, provides many accessories (including bikes, beach chairs and water toys) and a fun way to get around (golf cart). It is both comfortable and spacious, well meeting our needs.
To the well traveled VRBO-er, I would advise: there are no spices or condiments whatsoever in the kitchen and there are no facial tissues in the house, as well as only 1 roll of TP per bathroom. (Having stayed in many VRBO's in three countries, this was the least stocked house I have stayed in. However, everything else more than made up for this lack.)

We had a great time and really enjoyed this beautiful home. Everything about it was excellent including the golf cart. Our group of 6 had tons of space and even though we werent at the house a ton when we were it was comforting and a perfect fit for us.

Everyone loved the home! It was easy to find anything in the kitchen. All of the drawers were labeled. The golf cart was a fantastic bonus. Plus they had beach chairs, beach umbrellas & bicycles. The home owners have great taste we didn’t want to leave. 😎

This property was exactly as advertised and had so much to offer. We truly enjoyed the convenience of the golf cart and it made going to the beach so much easier. They had so many items for the beach to enjoy and the 5 bikes were a great option for us. The A/C had a leaking sound and clogged drain and they hired a professional company to come to the house to make the repair in a timely manner. The washing machine agitator had a part missing and they came to the house promptly to take a photo and order the necessary part. The only drawback to the house was that the bedrooms were hot and needed a fan at night in addition to the ceiling fan to make the bedroom a little cooler. The A/C had to remain on 72 degrees and it was hard to cool down a house that size at that temperature. I would recommend bringing a fan for every bedroom if you like to stay in a cool room while you're sleeping. I would definitely rent this property again and would recommend it to anyone!

My entire family stayed at Paradise in Destiny over Memorial Day weekend and enjoyed our stay. The house is equipped with everything you will need for the kitchen, towels, bedding, and beach. The golf cart and bicycles were great, there is a basketball and tennis rackets.
The living room furniture needs to be updated, there was one chair that we moved to the side because we didn't want anyone to sit on it because the leg wasn't screwed in properly and the sofas were too low. My parents said the the masterbed mattress was too hard as well. But besides that, it was a great house in a wonderful location.
