Diamond in the Dunes - Vacation Rental in Dunes of Destin Formerly known as Semi-True Story Complete Interior/Exterior $1M Renovation in 2020 include: - A brand new private pool and spa tub - Expansive, unique bunk room - All-new flooring and paint - Updated finishes and fixtures - Exterior paint Diamond in the Dunes is a gorgeous, gulf front home in Dunes of Destin. This home features beautiful Gulf views with a private pool and beach access for guests to enjoy their vacation with easy access to all of their favorite activities. Upon entering the main floor, guests will be greeted by a spiral staircase and the main area of the home, complete with an elevator for easy access to three floors. Beautiful white walls, updated finishes, LVP floors, and exposed beams create a clean and modern atmosphere. Gather in the living room and enjoy a movie with the family while enjoying the Gulf view from the sliding glass doors that lead to the balcony. The open-floor-plan of this area is perfect for the family to be together while eating meals or relaxing in the living room. The extravagant kitchen features floating shelves, top-of-the-line commercial appliances, two dishwashers, and a spacious pantry. The entire family can gather around the large dining room table next to windows with beautiful views. Step onto the balcony to experience unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico through seamless glass railings. Also on the balcony, guests can access the pool area from a spiral staircase that leads to the pool deck. The entire lower floor of the home consists of an enormous and unique bunk room with three built-in queen-over-queen-over queen bunk beds. Two sofas accommodate this space around a large flat-screen TV. There are two bathrooms for this large space, each with two standalone, custom showers. Just off of the bunk area is a queen bedroom and a laundry room. Step onto the pool deck and splash into some fun in this stunning private pool with a built-in spa tub! Guests can also access the beach via private beach access. Upon entering the third floor, guests are welcomed to a common area with a bar complete with floating shelves, a mini-fridge, and a coffee and wine area with a bar table. Two gulf-front bedrooms, each with a private bath and a walk-in closet, are located on this floor. The master suite boasts beautiful Gulf views with private access to the balcony. The private bathroom has been completely upgraded with a large standalone shower, a separate tub, and a dual-sink vanity. Step onto the balcony where you can see the water through the seamless glass railings while you enjoy a hot cup of coffee. The secondary master is right next door and features a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and private access to the gulf-front balcony. The fourth-floor is home to four more bedrooms to accommodate your guests. Two of the bedrooms are furnished with king beds and provide guests with a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. The other two bedrooms include king beds and private bathrooms as well as lovely views of the Gulf through the balcony doors and windows. Diamond in the Dunes was renovated to meet the needs of all different types of travelers. This home was the perfect fit for our family of 18. I was a little stressed out with all the reviews about the pool alarm and the codes for all the doors and gates but it was a breeze. Also, thank goodness for the elevator! Everyone had it figured out in no time without issue. We didn’t get to use the bikes much (tires were flat). Great house though!

My family had a fabulous time! The access to the beach was wonderful. The beds, linens and accommodations were 5 star. Our only complaint was the ice machine was located on the bottom floor, not in the kitchen.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The property management team communicated well throughout our stay to ensure that everything was going well. Anytime there was an issue, they were very responsive in addressing them.
The home itself was just as the pictures described and the home was well equipped with our vacation needs. The elevator was a bit tricky, but we were able to use it throughout the duration of our stay. Depending on the type of vehicles that you are traveling in, parking can be a bit tricky because the driveway is in an angle, but we were able to fit two 15 passenger vans in the driveway.
Overall, we had a great stay and are looking forward to returning as soon as possible.

Beautiful home with easy beach access. Perfect for a corporate retreat. The number of Access codes were a bit challenging to navigate at first but then fine. Garage too small to fit 2 minivans. Elevator helpful yet reliability is concerning. Huge kitchen and eating space. Bedroom suites were above expectations!

Really nice place. Elevator is untrustworthy. Finishing touches were weak. No towel bars or hooks. Curtain rods fell on the floor, stairwell spindles fell to the first floor creating a safety concern, gas smell in the basement. It just seems like the all the finish work was incomplete.

We stayed here for 4 days. It was plenty big enough. There were only a few complaints. When we arrived we were unloading our van and got a call within 5 min that it was parked in the wrong spot. We hadn't even gotten all our luggage out yet. There are a lot of codes. One to get into neighborhood, one into house, one for garage. They aren't all in an easy place to refer to. This home immaculate and in a perfect location. It was nice to have beach front access. We loved every detail about this home! It was nice that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Our family loved it so much we are already planning to book this home again for our next trip.

Our first home was unavailable one week from occupancy due to a water emergency, but we were fortunate this home was available. This is the perfect location on Miramar Beach in Destin. The proximity of the beach to the home is wonderful, with a beautiful porch and pool area. Beach set-up inclusive with the rental was great! The home is well appointed with ample bedrooms, baths and a delightful gourmet kitchen. The overall Tuscan style of the home include furnishings that are quite comfortable, if a bit heavy and wall colors are strong in some bedrooms/baths. The entrance and exit of the home required the code for both garage and door each time and a garage remote during weather would have been appreciated. There is also a pool protection alarm at all doors leading out to pool/porch... it must be touched every time you enter and exit, this was really bothersome ( it became a real irritant during our stay ) *we had no children under 16. It is not listed well in the information and had to be serviced during our stay once because it wouldn't silence and the master egress went off once at night despite no entry or exit at that area at all. Overall a really nice property, but I would not stay there again due to the alarm.
