About this condo rental
Situated in Goodland, this attractive condo for $185 per night is a great choice for your next trip. This cottage is a very quiet and spacious 1 bedroom. It rests on a very private east corner of the island, of Goodland. We have a lovely pier, and wonderful seats at the seawalls edge, the water is right under your feet! Enjoy a private, peaceful, getaway in a sleepy historic fishing village. Our spacious cottage is furnished with all your essential needs for an enjoyable short term stay. Step out onto your private back porch that looks out and beyond the Goodland Bay and the Everglades, to catch the sunrise over the mangroves. Enjoy our spacious backyard, and relax at the seawall and watch for a passerby of dolphins, manatees, and native birds. Bring along your fishing rod, and fish right at the waters edge! Our village has lively entertainment all through the week. There are 4 different restaurants all within walking distance, along with a fresh seafood market. Goodland has its very own Museum located within the MarGood Harbor Park. The park has a playground, a pavilion, and lovely meandering path that leads from our cottage to the artistically decorated postoffice, and beyond to the local restaurants. There are 2 marinas and a boat park for all of your boating and fishing needs, all within a short distance. *Note* June through September are off season for our village. 3 out of the 4 restaurants are closed, the fish market, and local museum are closed. Marco island is minutes away with regular hours of operation during the summer months. *We are not located ON Marco Island, we are 5 miles on the outskirts of the city, and the beaches.

The easy check in process, the accommodating host, the comfortable bed, the excellent water pressure for showering, the location with easy walking to restaurants but still a quiet residential area, not far from Tigertail beach and wonderful amenities such as kayaking and bicycling would by themselves rate this a 5 star home. Forget all of the above features and just enjoy the beautiful view with dolphins 10 feet off shore, a beautiful sunrise and the quiet lapping of the water and you’ll give this home another 5 star rating.

Charming & clean! Perfect location to get to an early morning shelling boat trip. The owner made sure every need was met as well as extra comforts & welcome gifts. The Little Bar is walking distance for an delicious meal .

There were also kayaks available to tour around the little islands. The hostess was communicative and helped make our stay very enjoyable. We plan to return for another visit.

Perfect in every way!
We loved our time in Goodland and stay at Amanda’s little cottage! Everything was just as shown on VRBO listing. Amanda was very easy to work with and she allowed us to check in early which helped us out. We enjoyed the new fluffy bath towels. Our only disappointment was that Stan’s was closed on Saturday night which we found out when we went over to enjoy music and have a drink!

Quaint cottage.
The location is perfect, walkable to restaurants and yard with view of bay. Comfortable and clean. Enjoyed our stay. Only issue is washer- dryer….needed $3.50 in quarters to wash a load and the same to dry. Could not find a place on the weekend to obtain the change. Fix that and the condo is excellent.

A great cottage!
This cottage had some really great amenities including dolphins and manatees that were easy to see right from the dock. Very clean, modern and the hosts were very attentive. Highly recommend staying here. I would book again next time im in the area.

Two day getaway!
The bungalow was really cute and we enjoyed it. One thing though, the listing talked about being in a cute little village with restaurants, shops and a museum. Only problem is, nothing open in the summer! Everything had signs saying see you in October! Would have been nice to know ahead of time. Also, couldn’t find the kayaks, but we weren’t sure how many units were sharing them so maybe they were just in use by others when we looked. And one more issue we had, there was no cable tv. There were TVs, but only for streaming services, so no regular channels meant no olympics. Also, internet was super spotty.
All that being said, it was close to Marco island and was clean and comfortable!😊

The place was very clean, tidy and decorated nicely, there were even some beach chairs and a beach umbrella to use. The outside was a bit deceiving. It was on the water but not very nice. We were also a bit disappointed with the town of Goodland.

35th Anniversary
Very quiet and clean place to stay. We didn't want for anything, it was all there. Shampoo, soap, dish soap and even cream for the coffee.
Short 10 minute drive to Marco Island for day trips and sunsets.
We will keep this place in mind for long weekends down the road.

Lovely cottage for anniversary weekend
Clean, comfortable and updated cottage that was the perfect anniversary getaway. Close to Marco Island and its upscale restaurants, but a world away from the crowds. We also loved the Little Restaurant in Goodland. Can't wait to come back!
