Beautiful Remodeled downtown apartment in the downstairs of a cute 1960s home, just minutes walk from downtown. Very safe neighborhood. Separate entrance from owner's who is upstairs. Very comfortable and clean. Walking distance away from Fire Island Bakery and a couple blocks away from New Sagaya City Market. Fully stocked with towels, linens, and all kitchen appliances and items for your cooking needs. All rooms are very bright, receiving direct sunlight at different times in the day. Definitely a rental for a plant and light lover. All rooms have egress escapes for your safety. Lots of free street parking, which is difficult to find downtown. If you want to be near the heart of Anchorage in a cute community area with lots to do, this is the place for you. Easy access to the coastal trail and Westchester Lagoon.

This property was fantastic! Courtney was very easy to get ahold of for any questions and was very attentive to guest needs. This property was a basement apartment, but it did not feel like a basement and was very bright. I would highly recommend it as it was in a great location and was very comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again if I were to come back to Anchorage!

We’re so glad we got in last minute! Courtney was an amazing host - my husband needed a certain pan to cook me breakfast and she let him use hers. Her pup is the cutest thing ever, and loves being chased. The place was cute, quaint and cozy. We even asked monthly pricing so we can stay there longer the next time we visit Anchorage. Thanks for having us!

This is about as close to perfect for us as it could get. It had easy entry, egress, very clean and comfortable, it was close enough to town that we could walk to most places, it had all the conveniences, a good sized bathroom and reasonably priced. We loved the train to Anchorage, the Ebike tour, and the Wildlife Excursion. The host Courtney was a treat, friendly and welcoming as was her dog Jack. We were more than .pleased. A+++

We stayed for four nights at this location, and loved it so much! It's bright, clean, full of plants, and other nice touches and amenities. The bed was so very comfortable, and the pillow was like a cloud. The shower was spacious, with good pressure and plenty of hot water. The living area had plenty of room, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We happened to meet the owner, and she was very friendly. She offered her assistance with hiking trails, restaurants, and things to do. The location was great! It's in a cool neighborhood, easy walking distance from downtown. We had no trouble parking on the street in front of the house, and it felt very safe. There is a convenient market within a five minute walk. They had plenty of fresh produce, and a good selection of interesting things we can't find at home. Check in was easy. Check out was easy. It was honestly pretty perfect!

My wife and I had such a great time staying at this property! All the boxes were checked; clean, comfortable, safe, perfect location, and had everything we would want or need. Was the perfect home away from home! Courtney was an amazing host and super accomidating! Cant wait to visit Alaska again and we will be sure to book here!

We stayed at Courtney’s place and had a great time! Courtney was always ready to offer help and suggestions on trails, restaurants, and other highlights of the Anchorage area. Her apartment was super clean and cozy. As soon as you enter, the space is filled with a pleasant aroma and filled with light. The 1.5 bathrooms were handy with four people and the walk in shower was roomy. The living room/kitchen area is comfortable and equipped with a washer/dryer, which is so important when traveling and trying to limit hauling around a lot of baggage. The kitchen was spacious with all the utensils and appliances needed to throw together a home cooked meal. The location was perfect and centrally located to any neighborhood in Anchorage. Our family of three stayed here for a week and we enjoyed our stay so much! The place was very clean, had all we needed, and was in close proximity to downtown. Courtney (host) was so helpful with our late night arrival (had extra bed all set up for our daughter and fresh coffee beans for the morning). She gave us fantastic recommendations for meals and activities in the area. Though the Vrbo is downstairs (basement), it is designed to allow for lots of natural light and didn’t feel like a basement at all. Courtney afforded us complete privacy but was quick to respond when we had any questions. We highly recommend this Vrbo for any travelers! Thank you, Courtney!

This place was perfect. Stayed here with my teenage son for 4 days in June. Courtney is an amazing host. She is so responsive and helpful. Her property was spotless and very comfortable. It was also in the perfect location. Very close to downtown - within reasonable walking distance of a lot of places if you don’t have a car. The neighborhood was very quiet and felt safe. A grocery store is literally 2 minute walk away. I will definitely stay here again next time we come to Anchorage. Having such a great host, Courtney, combined with everything great about this property ranks it at the top of the places I’ve stayed at.

This property was the perfect place to rest during a pretty brutal work schedule! Quiet, peaceful, clean, comfortable, spacious and perfectly located for everything I needed. If I am ever back in Anchorage, I could not imagine staying anywhere else. The host was very responsive, informative and made sure that I had all the information that I needed to make my stay as accommodating as possible. If this location is available this is the perfect spot for anyone looking to have a place to return to and recharge. Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your property, it made my otherwise stressful trip amazing!

I was in Anchorage for a family wedding but wanted to spend some days touring Alaska. I came upon Courtney’s property and it proved to be perfect. Walking distance to downtown and driving distance to some of the best views/activities in Alaska. The apartment was bright, clean, accessible and very well appointed. Courtney was helpful and responsive, offering up suggestions when asked. When I checked out I felt I was leaving a home! Would totally recommend.

Comfortable and cozy is how I would describe this home. The host has made it so easy to relax and enjoy your stay here. Full amenities away from home. This place has the perfect location in Anchorage! A few minutes from downtown you could even walk if wanted. I definitely would recommend a stay here. Stayed in downstairs unit in clean, inviting home while visiting our son in Air Force at JBER. House is close to base, town, restaurants and shopping. We rented a car and explored the beautiful trails and lakes. Courtney is an amazing, responsive host with perfect recommendations for food and activities. Can’t wait to come back!!!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this property. This was my first time using VRBO and Courtney was a fantastic host. The property was extremely clean and well appointed. Everything you need is in the apartment for you - including bear spray! And if there’s something you can’t find, Courtney is just a text message away. The location is also a short walk away from downtown Anchorage which is extremely helpful. Thanks again for accommodating our group and for all of the tips!

I loved this property. Courtney was very welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed. She made recommendations on places to eat and visit while I was in town on business. I’ve stayed in Anchorage before and have noticed that many of the VRBO properties look good online but are in pretty ghetto areas. I liked that this place was on a quite street in a nice area where I didn’t have to worry about parking my car on the street. The apartment was very clean and well equipped with everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable and neighborhood is quiet. I would definitely stay here again and recommend without hesitation. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
