No visitor parking. No boats. No pets. No smoking. Free use of kayaks! FREE AMENITIES GALORE! Each of our places has a free high-speed WIFI, Beach towels, folding beach chairs, Sand toy set & all linens provided. Charcoal grills (guest to provide own charcoal). Free use of our laundry room on main floor. Free shared use of swimming pool, Bay-front beach area, Fishing Dock, outdoor seating, outdoor Ping-Pong table, and self-serve Tiki Bar area. Free shared use of our kayaks (for age 21 & up) to explore picturesque Lemon Bay. Dolphins often spotted. Free high-speed WIFI. Keurig-style coffee maker & we also offer traditional coffee maker. Like hotels - we supply "starter supplies" - toilet paper, folded paper towels, sample size coffee, tea, etc. to get you going -- then there's a Dollar Tree nearby or grocery stores if you want additional supplies. Guests have access to upstairs Villa Seaglass and also to Blue Island Inn's common area amenities: pool, our sandy “bay beach”, fishing dock (no boat docking), Ping-Pong, laundry room. - NOTE: TV's typically "ON" at arrival Rental car is most popular, most affordable option for most people. Uber and Lyft are also options. Stumpy’s Free Ride is a very popular tip-based shuttle service to get around easily on the Key. - ONE parking spot per Villa at blue Island Inn. Sorry no visitor parking. No oversize vehicles. No boat parking or boat docking due to insurance restrictions.

We stayed four nights in this lovely spot. It is exactly as it appears in the photos. The view from the room was beautiful. The place was immaculate and stocked with all we needed. We especially enjoyed the pool and the bayside area. The sunrises were spectacular. It’s a short walk across the street to the beach for equally spectacular sunsets. Any requests we had were promptly answered. As lovely as the space was it’s small. It’s perfect for two people. There are larger units in the building we hope to check out on our next visit. It’s clear the management works hard to create a comfortable and inviting place.

Loved the place. Cute and couldn't be cleaner. Lots of amenities and could be a favorite getaway place for us. The only, only thing that was more inconvenience than anything was the number of LED lights in all the rooms. We like a nice dark room to sleep in and there were lights everywhere! I tried to cover most of them with towels. And the TV screen never shuts down completely either. Thanks for a quiet and peaceful couple of days.

The view is everything! When you factor in the ease of the experience it is so what you want in a quiet, beautiful stay in SWFL. It was just my mom and I and she is a local returning periodically to check in on her house as it’s being restored from hurricane Ian—almost done! Property management here is outstanding and the dolphin watching is awesome—even saw a shark! Pool could use resurfacing and signage is a bit over the top but from a frequent VRBO user, I highly recommend!

If you are looking for an extremely clean and quiet place to stay on Manasota Key, with beautiful views of the sunrise over Lemon Bay, then this is the place for you! A nice pool to relax in and a dock to fish from as well.
The bedrooms are cottage sized, as described on the website, with very comfortable beds.
I personally liked the washer/dryer right inside the unit.
The Property manager, Elena, is super friendly and was onsight daily. Very approachable and helpful.
I give Seaglass 5+ stars!!

We stayed in the Seaglass unit and had a very nice stay. The location was at the end of a road right on the intercoastal water. The area felt very safe. The property/street has a private access across the road to the beach. Pictures were very accurate. Easy check in process and no issues. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time! We had private beach access which was incredible! The Seaglass had everything we could possibly need for the beach and our stay. We would come back again but we bought a house in nearby Englewood while we were there!

This place is a gem! The view of the bay welcomed us with a sunrise each morning. i would get my coffee and sit on the dock overlooking the bay. It was incredibly quiet and peaceful!
The place was clean and very very well stocked. There were plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas and wheel-carts for the beach. We enjoyed the pool, we even saw a few dolphins in the bay while hanging out.
Things to consider:
Beach access: The walk to the beach wasn't too bad, although it was a lot of work for us older ladies to wheel all the stuff (chairs, coolers, umbrellas, etc.) down a very long gravel driveway, followed by a narrow dirt path. It would not deter me from going back --the beach was worth it--but might be helpful for anyone with mobility issues.
Dining: You will need a car. You won't be able to easily walk to restaurants but there is lots of public parking. Well worth it to us since the location afforded so much peace and quiet.
We really enjoyed our visit and can't wait to go back to Englewood. It exceeded our expectations and was exactly the time away we needed. The owner is SUPER and very responsive so if you decide to stay here, you are in good hands!

My mother and her best friend were in awe the first morning when they woke up to the sunrise coming in the living room (I rented it for them and the place was a surprise). They are discussing booking a week next year there on their own. Everything was clean and had everything they needed and more. The environment was quiet so you could hear the water, birds, feel the breeze and we had the pool to ourselves the majority of the time. Great hosts with daily communication providing events/things to do around the area that may interest us. Best rental I’ve rented for my mom’s yearly trip and will definitely stay again!

Simply Wonderful!
My Mom, daughter and I spent one wonderful, quiet week at Sea Glass Villa. We had everything we needed in the apartment. All the amenities were great. The view was fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the beautiful, quiet walk to the beach. Manasota Key is a lovely place! Amy was wonderful to work with as well as her cleaning lady, Elana, who we had the joy of meeting. We would definitely go to the Blue Island Inn again! Thanks for making it a week of wonderful memories for my mom, daughter and myself.
