Die Unterkunft hat einen tollen Blick auf das Meer und ist guter Ausgangspunkt für schöne Wanderungen. Julia und Mario sind sehr herzliche, hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Unser Doppelzimmer war sehr gemütlich, hatte ein eigenes Bad und ein bequemes Bett mit genug warmen Decken. Wir können den Aufenthalt auf Taquile bei Julia und Mario sehr empfehlen.

Well placed. Big bed. Lots of blankets.

This is a homestay. So expectations must be lowered. In this particular homestay the rooms were cold. No heater supplied. The beds did have many blankets however.
The biggest disappointment was that we were left to ourselves. We had read about many home stays were the hosts would walk you around the island, or show you there way of life. None of that. We paid for a supper at the home stay that was not included in our reservation. It was very simple. An omelette on top of white rice accompanied by tea. The pancake the next morning was better although that is all that was offered. No fruit, yogurt, cheese, etc.
