Pleasant. But no aircon was a major issue

Very good location

No air conditioning just a very noisy upright fan. This meant that we had to open the doors at night because we couldn’t sleep with the fan on. This led to us being eaten by mosquitoes.

Will not recommend to friends

Staff were friendly. Nice garden and swimming pool area

We did not like the location and would not have booked there if we realised it was next to the cricket grounds. Finishings and furniture were very bare basic. Stove plates were rusty and looked old. There was no top sheet on the bed, just a duvet.

Fabulous, exceeded expectations!

The location to Newlands Cricket ground is amazing - as in opposite side of the road. Stayed there when when watching the SA20 final. Andre was an excellent host, could not have done more if I asked. Gave great info on the local shops, showed all the facilities. will definitely stay again when watching my next cricket game.

A wonderful, uplifting, joyful experience. I was totally spoiled by the team and owner.

The location for me was excellent as most of my friends were within 20 minutes drive. There is a good road system and an easy drive to Constantia village, the East coast and beaches, CBD and other places.Andre, the owner was super friendly and on hand at any time for requests or questions. It was good that your laundry could be washed and ironed the same day. The pool and garden are lovely and very clean. You are very safe sleeping here and great security. The staff, Watson and Tully are fantastic and so helpful. The room was changed each week and spotless. Loved the bed and pillows. I was there 4 weeks and certainly recommend.

The pool area can be noisey with traffic as there is a very busy main road and traffic lights just over the wall. It did not effect me as I live in a town. Maybe Mosquito mesh would be good on the windows. It may also be good to have a hand rail out of the pool. I had mobility problems and found it difficult to get out and noticed another lady had the same problem.

Went to a Kirstenbosch gardens music show for a weekend, the place was awesome and very convenient

Very neat and coz. Breakfast was simple and good. Not on the main road but close enough to shops.

Nothing not to like really. The place was perfect for my purpose

Had the best experience at Oak Manor.

The location is good. The is woolworths food that is open for 24hours just around the corner and a P n P that you can easily walk to and do your groceries. I also liked that the rooms at OakManor are spacious and the owner is very friendly.

Wonderful stay, can't wait to return.

we were made to feel very welcome by Andre and her team. The room we had was very comfortable and had all amenities the we needed. The outside areas pool, gardens etc were kept very clean and tidy. The room was fully serviced once a week and clean towels were given every 3-4 days. We look forward to returning to OakManor.

There was nothing we didn't like about this accomodation.

A piece of heaven in an even greater city.

Location is perfect if you are new to Cape Town and are looking for a quieter safer neighbourhood, I was travelling with my mother and we felt safe throughout, engen, picknpay, the gym and cavendish are a short walk away. Close enough to numerous restaurants and the cricket stadium so you won’t be bored. If you want to do more outside activities and don’t have a car, Uber is easily accessible ..Be prepared to spend roughly R90 for trips to popular spots like v & a, the beaches and a lil more for Table Mountain and vineyards. Craig was amazing and was easily accessible. The support staff were great and felt like family. I will definitely be back.

Perfect stay!

Andre was exceptional and very hands on. Nothing lacking that she did not assist with. Location is amazing and easy to travel from. The gardens and pool are also a sight. Overall aesthetic of the house is clean and relaxing.

My wife found the bed was a bit hard and did make sleeping a bit uncomfortable some nights.

Besides minor issues highlighted the stay was good.

Location and cleanliness very good. Staff was easy to communicate with and get assistance from.

Very late check in. Maintenance work around property a bit noisy, electric fence alarm. No option to choose unit to stay in, if there was other available units at check in.

Our stay was amazing and peaceful.

We everything, it was so peaceful and secure . We felt very safe . I loved how intimate it was and loved the design of the studio, definitely seeing us again !

A Great Place to Stay

Great place to stay, André and her staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. Good bathroom with plenty of hot water and two ply toilet paper!. Nice big comfortable double bed with nice soft pillows. Loved being here so much I have already booked 5 weeks next year

Nothing except load shedding but there is no getting away from it. However for next year they are hoping to go off grid

Andre is extremely friendly. She assisted us when we checked in late and welcomed us so warmly. We had an issue on the first night with plumbing, unfortunately the smell was extremely bad, however, the issue was sorted the next day.

We were warmly welcomed and made to feel very accommodated.

Garden and outside area is beautiful. Our dogs enjoyed the space.

Everything about the room. It is a beautiful studio apartment. Loved the big shower. Beautiful view of table mountain. The outside of the room is beautiful too. Pity it was raining 🥲

The heater is on but doesn't really work or heat up the place. It was a really cold weekend

location and comfort was good enough for my purpose of stay

location and breakfast good.

Would have liked cleaner sugar bowls with teaspoons and an extra knife etc for breakfast area. Complimentary in room sugar, coffee etc bowls dirty and sugar dirty. Milk sachets had expired. Would have liked a second bath mat and towel. Didn't use blanket as it smelt unclean.

It was a very convenient stay!

I liked the location as i was able to walk to the mall safely with my children. Saved us transport money. The wi-fi was top notch and we did not experience any load shedding at all!

Excellent location, secure and comfortable.

Our time at Oak Manor was perfect for our needs. It is an excellent location, and the rates are very good value for money for central Southern Suburbs. It was secure and we felt very safe. The bed was comfortable and the linen was lovely,

The breakfasts were fine, but uninspiring. We didn't get help with our overburdened luggage, unless we asked. The room we actually booked was not available because the geysers there were faulty.
