Casa Egos Pop is really a place of rest, beautifully decorated, clean, spacious. There is a beautiful courtyard with many places to sit, and the rooms are thoughtfully designed with plenty of space. In the purple and black rooms (the furthest away, among the rooms located internally) the WiFi is strong for videocalls and consistent work. Aide makes a great job at making everyone feel welcome and just like home. Bear in mind that this is a place with specific rules in place (kitchen use 8am-9pm as the gas is turned off outside these times), so be aware in case you have very early or late days, and plan accordingly. Overall, a great stay, in a great location. Will be coming back soon :)

This is the best hostel I've stayed in. The host is very kind and helpful. I stayed in the purple room, which is spacious and comfortable. The Wi-Fi is good for remote work, and the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking. The whole hostel is very clean and organized. It is in a good location and a nice neighborhood. I extended my stay and will come back.

Casa Egos Pop Laureles was one of my favourite stays in Medellín. The property feels like a peaceful sanctuary in the middle of the city—quiet, welcoming, and full of character. The location is excellent, close to everything while still feeling calm and safe. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay.
What truly made this place special was the owner. She is one of the kindest and most genuine hosts I have ever met. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel completely at home and treated me more like a guest in her home than a customer. Her warmth, hospitality, and attention to detail created such a positive experience. If you’re looking for a place with heart, this is it.
Honestly, very little. If I had to mention anything, it would only be that I wish I could have stayed longer. The property exceeded my expectations and offered exactly the peaceful atmosphere I was looking for.
