I loved Brackfield, it was exquisite! Such a gorgeous period house, it's like stepping back in time. Great communication from David and seamless self check in and out. Comfortable bedroom with extra heater and even an electric fan. Spacious toilet with superb shower. Tea/coffee making facilities with bread, cereals and fruit etc. All in all a superb accommodation and unbeatable value too. 11 out of 10.

The breakfast offered a great variety, milk, bread, yogurt. While the location was a bit on the outskirts, requiring a drive to the main attractions, it was quiet enough to ensure a good night's rest.
The main drawback was the outskirts location, which made getting to the sights a hassle since we needed to drive everywhere. There were no convenient shops or restaurants within walking distance, so even grabbing a quick snack or a meal meant getting back in the car. Public transport was also non-existent in the area, which made us feel quite stranded without a vehicle.

We loved the historic location and the surrounding area. Claudy was a great little spot for supplies. The farm fresh eggs in the morning were an unexpected pleasure as were our chats with David, a most interesting man, whose experiences growing up on that property gave us a completely new perspective on The Troubles.
