The rooms are a lovely surprise after the reception area. They are clean and large. Good fresh cooked breakfast.
Outside and reception area don't look great.

I really liked the location of the inn. It's very close to the Derry~Londonderry train station and is pretty much walkable (we even had heavy luggage with us). The staff are also quite friendly, though they're not often present at the front desk in the reception area and need to be contacted by phone or by ringing the bell. We did not have any breakfast, so I can't say anything about that. The rooms were pretty neat (there weren't any cobwebs anywhere, which was greatly appreciated) and comfy, and I loved how they accommodated extra bedding for kids. There's even an essential grocery store right in front of the inn if you need anything in your room. All in all, the place has a cosy vibe to it, and it's not too far from the city centre and the station, which is a great plus!
Our room was on the second floor, and since they didn't have any lifts, it was quite difficult to get our luggage up. There's also no porterage service, though the staff do help you if you request it. Another thing that could've been done better was the noise in the room. Since there's no air-con in the room, we had to open our windows so that it wouldn't be too hot at night, which made sleeping difficult since there's a lot of noise coming from the cars driving on the street.

The family room was spacious enough for the 5 of us
Noisy on the corner of the river and some nightclub sound on the Friday evening, but earplugs worked fine
