We had the best time , this was our second year we had the pleasure of staying at cut in two.It was a great experience and the house was perfect. Gerard was very accommodating and a great host.We cant wait to come back next year.

Cut-in-Two West is absolutely amazing! We enjoyed EVERYTHING about our stay on the island, spending our days kayaking, paddleboarding, playing all of the yard games that are provided, and enjoying the gorgeous views from the porch, the deck, the dock, the yard...everywhere! Through the years, we have stayed at a number of rentals all over the country, and none have had the number of amenities provided at Cut-in-Two West. Gerard was the perfect host, and we are thankful we chose the island for our family vacation.

This place is like a storybook come to life! Perfect in every way - beautiful, clean home, stunning sunsets, and a magical island. Loved the lawn games and kayaks. The ferry service was excellent too. I would not change a thing. Can't wait to return!

Perfection!

This was our third summer staying at Cut in 2 West-- and this place improves every year. Gerard is wonderful to work with. The house is cozy, the new improvements of new decking, starlink services at the game house was an added bonus. We cannot wait to come back for our fourth summer. It has everything you need for quiet family time. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Thanks for another incredible and memorable stay.

Another magical stay at this property

We came last year during Covid, so this was our second time. Completely isolated from the world at this fantastic residence with our family and friends. The rooms all have a view. The kids entire the third floor and new ping pon table in the game room. Swam, paddle boarded, kayaked, cooked and enjoyed tje beautiful sunsets. It’s a perfect private getaway. We learned from our last visit about what you need to bring with regard to the groceries and getting items ordered and brought in. But we truly love this place. We’ve booked against for next year. Gerard is a dream to work with! Thimble Island are truly magical.

Perfect home in a perfect spot. Could not have asked for more. House was gorgeous and Gerard available to help and answer any questions. Loved the lawn games, clubhouse, and kayaks. We will be back!

We hosted 50 people for a small wedding at Cut in Two West this last weekend! We couldn’t have asked for a better venue to show our friends and family from out of state how beautiful CT is! The home was so beautiful and clean and the island was like nothing we had ever seen!

This beautiful property had something for everyone! There were plenty of paddle boards, kayaks and lawn games to keep both kids and adults busy all day into the evening hours. The wrap around porch with rocking chairs with the most beautiful views were used around the clock. The house was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed s’mores by the fire in the evening. Gerard answered my many questions leading up to our stay. This house really has everything you need. Leave the real world behind! This place is unreal.

The island and home were beautiful, just as described. Gerard was very helpful to us with all of our questions before arriving and we had a fantastic stay. It was a great spot to escape regular life and enjoy the sunsets every night. We would definitely come back here again!

Amazing property. My family and friends just enjoyed their entire time so much. The property is immaculate, has everything you would want and with water taxis every hour it was easy to get to and from shore as needed. Gerard is a gentleman who provided us with everything we needed.

Perfect get-away

Socially distant vacation, was unexpected and fantastic. The home was recently renovated and we enjoyed ourselves tremendously. The guest cottage was not finished, so we didn’t use it. But the main house was welcoming, cozy and great layout for families and kids. We did need a large float for adults to use at the dock since we didn’t have a boat. Kayaks, paddle boards and oars were provided along with life jackets in every size for our family. Great deck and grill for evening dinners. When we had small issues, the property manager was always there to help. We already booked for next summer. Beautiful property, amazing sunsets and perfect secluded island. The ferry service is quaint, not always on time—but consider yourself on Thimble Island time. We are glad to have found this gem.
