About this cottage rental
Located in Jacksonville Beach, this attractive cottage for $311 per night is a great option for your next break. This very rare and adorable 1939 beach cottage just steps from the beach has been beautifully restored to its former glory days. It is located in the heart of Jacksonville Beach and only steps away from the ocean. It is easy walking distance to many shops, festivals, bars, clubs, and restaurants. Everything is right there. Our cottage is suitable for just one couple, several couples, or an entire family getaway. We have a secluded back courtyard where you can simply relax or even have your breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Our kitchen is stocked with cookware, microwave, dishwasher, dishes, utensils, glasses, and of course a coffee pot to start your vacation. The side-by-side fridge has ice and water in the door. You may just find yourself eating out in the terrific local restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance. If not, you can throw chicken/steak/hamburger, etc. on the BBQ grill and enjoy your family picnic in the backyard. Sheets, linens, towels and beach towels are provided. We have beach chairs and umbrellas, boogie boards and a beach cart to take all the toys to the beach. The cottage is also furnished with HD TV, games and books. We also provide WIFI internet service just in case you want to stay in touch with family/friends during your stay. The cottage is equipped with inside washer and dryer to make longer trips away from home easier. We furnished this adorable cottage with nice furnishings, comfortable beds and decorated the place like a home. The cottage still has original wood floors almost throughout the entire house. You will feel it's your home away from home the moment you walk in. Spectacular sunrises greet you on your morning visit to the beach for coffee or stroll and occasionally the dolphins will meet you there. It is known for the flat open beach which makes it great for hanging out at the beach; walking or running, beachcombing and riding beach cruiser bicycles. Playing in the sand and surf is a great way to spend your days, but the fun doesn't stop there! Since the cottage is at the heart of Jax Beach, you can walk to all the events and festivals within a few minutes without worrying about finding or paying any parking. Many shops and restaurants, featuring local artists and top chefs are within a short walk. Jax Beach Amphitheater hosts many spring and summer festivals featuring well known jazz and blues artists. Jacksonville Beach is a fun filled beach community close to many attractions in sunny/warm Florida. Jacksonville Beach Pier, Adventure Landing, Kathryn Hannah State Park and Mayport Naval Station are nearby. Mayport, an original fish camp, is famous for it’s Mayport shrimp caught fresh daily. Mayo Clinic/Hospital is only 10-15 minutes away. St Augustine, ‘The Nation’s Oldest City', is less than 15 miles away and offers many fun and interesting tourist features, an alligator farm, the Fountain of Youth and Premium Outlet malls. Don't forget to bring your golf clubs. Home of THE PLAYERS Championship, birthplace of the TPC Network, and backdrop to the PGA TOUR headquarters, the TPC Sawgrass golf course in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., 5 miles away, is perhaps the world’s most famous golf course. THE PLAYERS Stadium Course sports one of the most recognizable and challenging holes on the PGA TOUR. The notorious par-3, 17th hole, features an island green that makes or breaks many a PGA TOUR pro’s round. Cute beach cottage steps to the beach. Very well stocked with anything you would need! Beach chairs and toys. Only thing I would add would be a small cooler we flew in so would have been nice.
The beds were very comfy and would definitely return. We did notice all bikes had flat tires. The owner was helpful on places to go. Definitely stay again.

Fantastic property that’s so close to the beach. Host is terrific and makes sure you are well taken care of. We stayed over the Thanksgiving week and had a wonderful time. One of the best places to stay in Jax Beach!

The Beach cottage was beautiful inside and outside! Short walk to the beach. Incredibly well decorated! The gardens and plants around the cottage were so pretty! Pictures don’t do this place justice!! All the beds were more comfortable than back at home. All amenities were at our fingertips. Barbara was so nice and quick to respond to any questions we had while there! We will be returning back to this beautiful beach cottage! 😊

This little cottage is charming! Spotlessly clean! Great neighborhood, & close to everything (most w/i walking distance). The host went above and beyond to make sure our stay was the best it could be! I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay there, and plan to be back! HIGHLY recommend!!

Our family of six had the best time at the Beachy Cottage! The house was comfortable, clean, located very close to the beach, and very well stocked.
Although the weather was a little cold we were still able to enjoy lots of beach time and really appreciated all of the beach equipment provided—we didn’t have to pack anything but our clothes and some food! Our kids really enjoyed walking to restaurants and the short walk to the water. We all slept great in the large comfy beds. We didn’t do much cooking but the kitchen had everything we needed and more. I really appreciate how thoughtful the hostess is, she obviously loves this house and takes very good care of it. We hope to come back again soon!

This home was perfect! But little beach bungalow, steps away from the beach. The home for us perfect and our friends. The home included all the fun things that we could need for a day at the beach…chairs, umbrella, towels, wagon to carry it all. The only thing we could not find was a cooler. This home has everything we need. We highly recommend staying here and are absolutely going to stay here again. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home!

Perfect little beach house
Just what my husband and I wanted for our 20th anniversary. The house was so adorable. It is so close to the beach. The sea breeze, the salt air! Barbara is the perfect host. She responded quickly to any questions or suggestions. She has thought of everything. The garage has all your beach needs such as umbrellas and chairs and even a wagon. The kitchen had everything I needed. There were plenty of towels and beach towels. Definitely stay here.

Cottage by the beach
The cottage was so cute and had several outdoor spaces including a screened front porch. It had a very homey feel and was so close to the beach. The bed in the master bedroom was so comfortable! The walk in shower in the master bathroom was nice and had excellent water pressure!
The cottage was well stocked with anything you needed including toiletries and plenty of towels and washcloths.
The best thing about the cottage is its proximity to the beach. It was a short walk maybe a block.

Warm and charming house less than a block from a lovely beach. This home has everything…wonderful eat-in kitchen, dining area, 2 porches with plenty of seating, 2 bathrooms, 1 with a large shower, 1 with a deep claw-foot tub (which I loved), large living room with comfortable sofa and chairs. Great location within walking distance of breakfast restaurant and a wonderful luncheon/ tea restaurant. The owner is always available to recommend restaurants and shopping locations…or anything else you might want. We will definitely rent again!

My husband and I were meeting up with friends from upstate ny(we are from nh) to catch up and see a nfl football game. Under no control of the weather… we came into a weekend nor’easter for all of Friday and Saturday. The accommodations were beautiful, relaxing and quaint. Everything we needed was there! Beautiful decor and total tropical feel. Only wish the weather would have been more accommodating! The beach was steps away and the screened in porch and private back patio would have been so enjoyable! Thank you Barbara! We loved your house!
