Perfect location for a first-time visit to Rome! We did quite a bit of research before our trip, and Trastevere was consistently recommended as one of the best neighborhoods to stay in — and we definitely didn’t regret choosing it.
The neighborhood is lively, vibrant, and full of character, with tons of restaurants, bars, and little markets everywhere. The historic center is literally just across the street and the river from the apartment, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city.
Rome was extremely hot during our stay, with temperatures around 100°F (37–38°C), but the apartment stayed nice and cool thanks to the three AC units. Fiona was super friendly and welcoming, and the apartment itself was very cute and comfortable.
We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!
There are three flights of stairs. We didn’t mind them, but if you have difficulty with stairs or are traveling with a lot of luggage, it’s something to keep in mind.

Great location, very spacious, clean apartment with air conditioning. Having 2 bathrooms was really good as we were a family group of 4 adults. Lots of restaurants nearby. There’s a lively square outside the apartment and we enjoyed viewing the entertainment! Would definitely recommend as a great place to stay in Rome if you don’t mind some evening noise.
There’s no lift so be prepared to walk 3 flights of stairs.

The property was very well located to reach most places in Rome. Good communication and meeting us to hand over keys. Bathroom shower good and kitchen well equipped.
Just take note three flights of stairs with suitecase is not too easy. But we were aware of this. Not quite on weekends because you are in middle of Trastevere.
