About this condo rental
Situated in Saint George Island, this charming condo for $482 per night is a great option for your next trip. This centrally located condo on the island was recently updated. All new paint, appliances and flooring in the bedrooms. Over 2,000 square feet includes a Great Room with large living room, dining area & beautiful kitchen. There are three large bedrooms and a family room. The front deck spans the entire full front of the building, providing a scenic view of downtown St. George Island including the lighthouse. The public beach, lighthouse and quaint shops and restaurants are in walking distance. The condo is next door to Aunt Ebby's Ice Cream and about a block from Island Outfitters (beach rental equipment) and Island Dog Outdoors. There are plenty of beaches nearby, including the main public beach and the State Park which covers the east portion of the island. The beds sleep up to 8, not including the sofa bed. The master bedroom has a king bed, the 1st guest bedroom features a full bed and twin bunkbed, and the 2nd guest bedroom has a queen bed. There is also a pull-out sofa bed in the living room (linens available for the sofa bed upon request). Kitchen comes supplied with condiments, standard coffee maker, dishwasher, ice maker with filtered water dispensing frig. There is a washer and a dryer. There is Wi-Fi and a 50" Smart TV (no cable) and DVD player along with family-friendly DVDs. This condo is located upstairs (above a quiet restaurant), providing a better view of the island. Bookings 7 nights or more get a 10% discount; 28 nights or more get a 20% discount.

The location and the space of this place is/was incredible. At first you might think…..seriously above a Subway restaurant??!! But change your thinking….,it’s in the middle of everything. Minutes walking distance to shops, restaurants, public beach access and an ice cream shop right next door! It’s fun sitting on the balcony at night people watching and listening to the waves crash in the background. Inside, serious amounts of usable space. You can feel at home very quickly…,..and hate to leave! Highly recommended location…. I hate to say that because I want it to be “ my little secret”!

We absolutely loved this home and the location was perfect! We were 1 block from the ocean and it was an easy walk to get there. Plus we had a pizza place downstairs, the ice cream shop next door that we went to every night, and all kinds of other shops and restaurants within walking distance. The home was really cute and much, much bigger than it looks from outside. We loved sitting on the balcony in the evening breeze and eating breakfast out there in the morning. It was so quiet and peaceful. My family had a blast with the air hockey table too. We had such a great time and I highly recommend this home.

This location had plenty of space for my husband, myself, and 5 kiddos! Everything we needed was within walking distance and we had a fabulous time. We would definitely consider staying here again in the future!

Terrible Experience
Property was extremely pricey for the location, it is literally on top of a Subway and only access to the beach is a public beach that gets quite questionable throughout the day. Very noisy and actually had to call the police one night because a group of kids were fighting in the Subway Parkin lot, aster all this I get charged a additional cleaning fee for red substance on tile floor that was easily removed and additional wiping of counters . I paid a cleaning fee with the rental so not sure what that money towards but I assumed it would be for then cleaning people to do their job . I would joy recommend this property as there are plenty of other properties on the island of much better value and location. Extremely disappointed !!

This place was perfect for the five of us. A lot of room and separate living areas for the adults and kids. Within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach. Very clean and comfy. Would definitely rent again. Thanks Ruth.

We had a nice time. The place is very clean and roomy. It has all you need. Lovely decor and very comfortable bedding. Location is central to the town. A bit of noise from main drag traffic and the Subway. But it does not impact sleeping time. Hihly recommendeded.

As I have been seeing with rentals lately, the houses are not stocked as well as they used to be. You will need to bring or purchase extra household items needed for your stay.
Some nicer frying pans were added, but the other cookware is old and very used. Towels were more limited this year. There were only 1 bath towel per person and 2 kitchen towels for the house. No dish cloth or sponge.
The king size bed was extremely hard. We toughed it out last year, but ended up moving to a queen room after 2 nights.
The condo is very clean and bright with large bedrooms and comfortable living areas. The kitchen is large and a breeze to cook the fresh caught fish or fresh seafood from the area.
The location of this rental is perfect. You can walk to everything. Stores, the lighthouse, the beach and food are just steps away.
The place is quite quiet for the area it is in. You can hear the music at Paddy's, but only if you step out the door. If you can hear the music, walk 2 blocks and have a beer, some oysters and a good time there.

Perfect Accommodation!
We were two couples -- all seniors -- who took a winter trip to eat oysters in Apalachicola for a few days. This property is huge, well- furnished, and impeccably clean. I can visualize a family there for a beach week being very satisfied as well. Kudos, Ruth! We'll be back!!

Excellent Property
I hesitate to give a good review because this is a hidden gem and it might not be available the next time we get to St George Island. However, unless you hate the smell of fresh baked bread, you cannot go wrong. It was exactly as advertised on the site. Absolutely beautifully decorated, large property and clean. All items worked, full kitchen and extremely well maintained property. Ruth was responsive and an complete pleasure to deal with. Was so pleased we booked another night and it was effortless thanks to Ruth. Thank you again Ruth for providing such a great experience for my family. You cannot go wrong booking with Ruth.

The location was perfect; the Blue Parrot, Weber’s donuts and Harry A’s, are all within walking distance. Aunt Ebby's ice cream, next door, was a bit hazardous to our waistlines but so delicious! The host was very responsive and even notified us before we checked in that the previous guests, broke a glass in the kitchen table, since it just happened and the guest didn’t inform them, they were not able to get it fixed before our arrival. It was just the two of us, so no big deal but we did appreciate the heads up. They had taped the broken crack in the glass. There was a bit of sand on the floors, when we got there, having a vacuum would have been helpful but I am a clean freak and often vacuum, even at VRBOs, so take that with a grain of salt. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Surprisingly great experience!
I was initially a bit skeptical of this property given that it was connected to the Subway downstairs. However, it’s actually a beautiful condo - perfect for my friend and I! It’s very soundproof, the pictures in the listing are very accurate, and it is a very short walk to the beach. Ruth gave me all the information to make our stay easy and comfortable. It’s a perfect place to just stretch out, relax, go to the beach, watch TV, play board games or even take a bath. Would highly recommend in St. George area.

St. George Island was amazing. It is beautiful and not over crowded. My boys loved the golf cart rental and playing at the uncrowned beach. We will definitely be back!
