Plenty of space. Helpful front office staff. Coffee pot and breakfast bars in room. Relatively quiet. Sufficient lighting. Good location. Reasonable priced. Nicely decorated (retro).

Reception was very kind when we checked in at almost 8pm. The room was a 3 bed, 2 room suite. The beds were comfortable, but not fantastic. The shower was hot, and the room spacious enough to play cards. The manager was kind enough to loan us a hot water pot in the morning for our tea. Coffe maker and snack bars in the room were appreciated. The room was quiet, and the heat worked really well.
I apreciate the preservation of a fun and historic old school motel.
Beds are ok, but not great.

Good location. Easy to find.
Front desk staff could have provided a little better customer service. When I asked a couple basic questions it felt like they were very burnt out.

Good location for accessing amazing redwoods
We were a little disappointed. The motel had a tired feel. Our room had quite noisy neighbours on one night (not the motel's fault) but the thin walls didn't help.
