Very convenient for Deauville & Trouville as well as Pont L'Eveque and the Pays D'Auge. Easy parking with electric charging points, and excellent refurb of a traditional Norman building executed with style, taste and great success. It's essentially a restaurant-with-rooms: dinner and breakfast both highly recommended (we always look for Michelin / Logis gourmands) for cuisine and efficient service. Impressive wine list focusing on Bordeaux with other areas represented, and good advice on purchasing wine in the area. We enjoyed a perfectly peaceful night's sleep with good accommodation in the wood-framed thatched building behind the restaurant and away from the road (which seems to be busy at times).
Canapville seems to be on a/the route out of Deauville/Trouville to the main regional and national road network. It's not a traditional pretty village but has large modern houses hidden behind hedges, together with a couple of older buildings and a 4*Manoir hotel close by - don't get confused when booking either! You wouldn't choose this for the immediate environs - no Place De L'Eglise, epicierie, boulangerie or market place - but don't be put off. We arrived from the A13 disappointed by first external impressions but left thinking we'll return.

Breakfast was ok, staff member very nice
Welcome on arrival was mediocre, stairs to bedroom was difficult with big luggage, door of bedroom needs fixing.
