About this condo rental
Located in Port Aransas, this lovely condo for $194 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Same Price on Two, Three or Four Night Off-Season Weekend Stays Remember to always play with the dates on my listings. You may be surprised to find dramatic discounts at times. Flexible dates equal flexible rates!!! LONGER STAYS CAN DRAMATICALLY LOWER THE NIGHTLY RATE! So be sure to try different arrival and departure date configurations. This listing is for 2020 Sandpoint's two bedroom two bath configuration. If you need more room, see VRBO #1846858 to rent the three bedroom three bath portion or VRBO #1846862 to rent the entire five bedroom five bath condo. This two bedroom two bath configuration sleeps/permits six guests on three queens. There's one in each of the two bedrooms plus a queen murphy bed in the living room that folds out of the wall, so no one's getting short changed on a futon or sleeper sofa. The master has full private bath with shower. The second bedroom has private access to the hall bath with shower. 2020 Sandpoint has widow's walk and gulfview with only three houses between it and the neighborhood's private pool/hot tub area. The Sand Point neighborhood's VERY SHORT boardwalk and path over the dunes to the beach begins just a couple houses past that. And speaking of Sand Point, the Sand Point neighborhood is in town at marker #9 on the beach next to Beach Lodge (NOT way out of town, so far down Hwy 361 you can't even get a pizza delivered). In fact you'll only be a mile from the downtown area. The neighborhood offers a relatively large private pool and hot tub area exclusive to Sand Point plus a VERY SHORT private boardwalk and path over the dunes so there's no hiking or driving necessary from a home you just thought was close to the beach. If you've ever stayed elsewhere you know what I'm talking about, but even if you don't have first hand experience in what I'm talking about, why chance it? Stay with us at 2020 Sandpoint and here's another great reason why. Sure most places have a coffee maker, and maybe a toaster but do they also have a blender, can opener, shrimp deveiner and remote controls that actually work? And are they fully stocked with complete cookware, dinnerware, glassware and silverware along with complete bedding linens and towels for the number of guests the home accommodates, as well as brand name dish soap, Tide laundry detergent, body wash, dishwashing detergent, coffee filters, trashbags, paper towels and high quality toilet paper all purchased by moms that care, for moms that care? 2020 Sandpoint has all this and more! So again, if you've stayed elsewhere, you know what I'm talking about. Try 2020 Sandpoint for once and see how it works perfectly for your family too. We feel certain you'll be back again and again! Additionally, we are THE PRIME LOCATION for SandFest which is an international sand sculpting competition held each year in April. It takes place right next to the Sand Point neighborhood's private boardwalk over the dunes. Where are you going to park? Shuttle? We don't need no stinkin' shuttle from across town. We're staying right next to SandFest at 2020 Sandpoint in the Sand Point neighborhood with pool, hot tub and direct beach boardwalk access to fun! There's also a very popular restaurant in the neighborhood just steps from the home. The Beach Lodge serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in a casual setting right on the beach. In fact its the only place in Port A to get a pot boil crab dinner and beer on the beach. Remember folks, Sand Point is the ONLY neighborhood "in town" with restaurant, bar, pool, hot tub, beach boardwalk and golf cart access. We and another couple stay for a long weekend in Port A every year after Labor Day and this year we booked 2020 Sandpoint. The whole house is 3 units; the 2 on the ends are the same size and the one in the middle is another bedroom with interior doors that can be added on to either unit if needed. We stayed in unit A on the left hand side.
Check-in was easy and fun with Matthew, who was also super-responsive during our stay the one time we had a question.
The unit was big enough for the 2 couples and 2 small dogs that stayed the long weekend. Plenty of parking for our two vehicles and the cart we rented. Many other beach rentals only had 2 spots total and the cart counts as one so be advised. Not a worry with 2020 Sand Point.
The private pool was nice but all these pools are shallow and small so the water temp was well into warm bath territory. What can you expect at the end of a hot summer, though?
Overall it was a great stay and we'd certainly stay at any of the hosts properties again.

My inlaws were visiting and we were looking for a beach house that was close to the beach and everything we wanted to do. This house was close to everything! Such a short distance to the beach and we were so close to shopping and restaurants! The house was amazing! Very spacious and comfortable for all of us! Would definitly go back to stay! Thank you!

The management team was very responsive and the off-season free night was great! There happened to be a power outage in the neighborhood when we were there and they came over with extra flashlights for us and kept us updated in what the electric company was telling them. Short walk to the beach and the community pool and hot tub was very nice. For any birders, there’s a tree next to the pool that the birds loved—full of orioles, warblers, hummingbirds! I would say the the condo is very comfortable for 4, to put six in, you would have to put the sofa and coffee table somewhere (on the porch?) to open a Murphy bed.

We had a wonderful time and Matthew was a great host; very knowledgeable about the Island. It's a short walk to the beach and it's close to town. The rental is extremely clean and has all the necessities. We both would highly recommend staying here.

Perfect Family Getaway
We enjoyed our stay! Very clean, easy walk to the beach, stocked kitchen, perfect porch with a great view, and a great host who was great at communicating and had good food recommendations. We were able to cook meals in the kitchen and we really loved how easy it was to get to the beach. We stayed in unit C. It shares a wall with the other units, which made for a little noise when the other family staying next to us showed up. But a perfect location for our family. We will be back for sure!

We went for a girls trip and it rained the whole time, but we made the best of it and had a blast everything about the home and neighborhood was so nice. The only thing that I can give feedback on is that the beds were super hard

The Sand Point condo is in the perfect location for just about everything. Walking distance to the beach, a short drive to the docs @ Fisherman's Warf, and just about anything else in Port A.We are looking back to come and visit again!

Really a nice property in all regards. The only information I would add not necessarily as a complaint but just for complete transparency/clarity is:
1. You really don't have a beach / ocean view in my opinion.
2. You do have a slight walk down the street and then over the dunes to get to the beach.
3. I would describe this property as a triplex. Three separate units all in one structure.

Brief Escape to the Coast
Property was clean, but cold when we arrived. At 47 degrees, it would have been nice to have it pre warmed. Aside from that, all was well until the power outage shut down the island and we had to depart before we would have liked.

The neighborhood was really nice. The condo was nice. We went to the beach so we didn't use the pool. The hot tub was closed due to covid distancing. This condo was at the upper end of the street so it was a little walk to the beach but doable.

The property was very clean and in close proximity to the beach and pool. Matt was tremendously responsive to all of our needs. Would certainly stay there again.

We had such an amazing time.
We absolutely loved our stay. Unit 2020 was perfect for us. The unit even had a washer and dryer we could use. Ceiling fans, three televisions, two bathrooms, a murphy bed in the living room, dish washer, Always had hot water, Very nice patio to relax on. The condo management were PHENOMENAL!!!! I would highly recommend anyone who wants a great place to stay should contact Matt, he was perfect. While your there enjoy the pool, and definitely eat at Cody's and enjoy there grilled Zucchini, all there food is great. Moby Dicks has great food and karaoke at Shortys and Gidditys. 10 stars all around.

Fabulous Condo!
We just spent a week in this condo. Can’t say enough about what a great find it was. One of the best equipped as far as kitchens go that we’ve ever stayed in. Matthew was terrific when the internet went down he immediately came a rebooted the router for us (late at night)! Another night he fixed the outdoor lights so they’d come on and stay on later for us. Pool was great and easy access to the beach. Book this condo and tell Matthew Judy and the girls say hello!

So close to the beach!
This property is so clean and well-maintained. It was so nice to have all of the linens provided as well as a fully equipped kitchen. It definitely made packing for our vacation much easier. We really enjoyed the covered deck, outdoor shower and short walk to the beach!! I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to all of my friends and family.

A Treat for All
Location, location! The beach is a 5 minute walk, if that. Access is from a private walk, just down the loop. Easy access made it simple to go back and forth for food, forgotten items or rest. This 2 bedroom condo is comfortable enough to feel like you could stay, indefinitely! Couches for relaxing, a fully equipped kitchen, plenty of counter space, tvs throughout, comfortable beds, 2 bathrooms, washer/dryer, a dining table, private balcony and a grill. We couldn't have asked for more! Matthew and his staff make you feel like family and are attentive and easily reached. Well worth it!

Clean and Comfortable
The condo is clean and comfortable. It in a subdivision and not right on the beach. There is no view of the beach from the balcony- you see all the other condos. The pictures were deceiving. There is one bar/restaurant within walking distance. There were no rentable chairs/umbrellas available. There was a good store to purchase some for about the same cost we previously paid for rentals. We enjoyed our stay. However, Port Aransas still has major damage. There were adequate restaurants, stores, etc. but you wake up every morning to hammering and construction noise. This is not a complaint - I know this is necessary.
