Prime location for Canal Park activities! The view was amazing. Watching all the sail boats, Aqua man swimming and just watching and listening to the waves was great. Beds are very comfortable/soft. Enjoyed playing games and looking out the big windows at the lake! Just a couple of things the living room couch has changed and is not a pull out. So all beds are either up/down stairs. Unfortunately they had some winter storms that pushed the beach up to the yard and what use to be a couple steps onto beach is now a very large mound to climb over to get to beach which can be a challenge when you have young kids, beach toys, umbrella ,chairs ect. Darn Mother Nature:( also the house is equipped with air conditioning but it was not up and running. Sounds like in July the have it available. However it was cool most of our stay, windows opened cooled it down first 3 nights. However our last night was very stuffy upstairs( no breeze) so I did not sleep very good… but everyone runs different. Just want people to be prepared and not disappointed. All in all when had a really nice vacation! Bring a lighter for gas grill, the bottom is rusted out and the igniter did not work. Yost family

We had a generally great time but may not come back. details: Superb location, clean house, spacious rooms. Minor issues with lack of stock ( salt, oil, bandaid, abundance of basement bugs, bed screws sticking out etc) the biggest deal breaker for us (with 3 small kids on the beach property) is the lack of laundry. Listing says laundromat around the corner. That corner turns out to be a 10 min drive to a swanky laundromat that costs 20(!) to do a single load. We brought 5 changes of clothes for 3 days and did laundry once but still ran out of clothes for the kids. they did have a wonderful time to be sure. This place might be better suited for 2-3 families with older children.
