The hotel is about 1.5 km from the center of Pythagorion, and taxis are easily available within walking distance. The room we stayed in was very spacious. The biggest advantage was being able to swim in the sea right in front of the hotel for free. The water was very calm and peaceful. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and you could really tell that they enjoy their work. The breakfast was more than adequate and had everything we needed.

We did not arrive here with high expectations, but for a 2-star hotel, Potokaki Beachfront Hotel was great for our big family (all adults).
It takes around 25-30 minutes to arrive to Potokaki from Samos' Vathy Port by taxi which costs around 26-30 euros. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the kind personnel and the check in process went super smooth.
The rooms were clean and neat. In our room, we were able to find clean towels, a nicely working mini fridge, TV, kettle, airco, fan, and a cooker if needed (we did not use it).
WiFi connection was fast without any problems.
The open buffet breakfast between 08.00 - 10.30 was simple, yet it was beyond our expectation. You could find fresh fruits, strained yoghurt, cereals, oatmeal, boiled eggs, cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, salami, olives, jams, honey, butter, delicious bread, salty and sweet pastries, a coffee machine, variety of tea and lemonade.
Breakfast is the only food service Potokaki Beachfront Hotel provides, but there are a few bars/beaches that are within 2-5 minute walking distance to the hotel that serves snacks and drinks. You can also just cross the road for the market Hydrele Beach Minimart to get snacks & cooled drinks and enjoy them at the hotel's terrace.
The beach is right in front of hotel's terrace, there a bunch of sunbeds available to hotel's guests. The sea was calm and clean during our 6-day stay. The entrance to the sea is rocky, so you might want to bring sea-shoes, but personally it was also fine without.
For dinner you have a few options within 10 & 15-minute walking distance. You can also walk (25-30 minutes) or take a taxi (5 minutes, 9-10 euros) to Pythagoreio center for more options.
Check-out was at 11:00 and our ferry wasn't until 17:00, so the hotel kindly let us store our bags at the reception desk and allowed us to sit on the terrace in the afternoon.
Overall, we were really happy with our stay at this hotel, I would recommend it.

Beautiful breakfast balcony, and one step away from the beach.
The facilities seemed a bit old and the only thing that was new in the room was the TV. Most importantly though, there is no noise isolation between the rooms and you can hear everything every morning; banging doors, breakfast being set up, guest talking and the cleaner going in and out the rooms.
