Newly designed so everything provided incl laptop desk and charging points
Location was ok but had to get U Bahn to get anywhere. We were unlucky to be staying at the same time as a large ‘school group’ .

The location was a plus, it's close to the station and the neighbourhood is quite alright, we felt safe coming back to the hotel at night.
The rooms, although small (just like in hotels) are very well equipped and they make very good use of the space they had. The room was also very clean.
The lobby is also nice, we spent a couple of hours there after check out as our flight was late at night.
Unfortunately, the stuff is very unprepared and i would dare to say a bit rude. We had three major problems with them :
1. We asked in advance (a couple of days prior) for an iron. They promised they would provide it when we arrive, but that wasn't the case. I understand you cannot reserve an iron beforehand, that's ok, but we had to ask three times for an iron, but none was available. Their procedure, as spoken by the guys at the reception, is : "we don't ask the room number when we give an iron, we cannot take an iron back from a guest once he took it". This is something i've never heard before in my travels. So, they give the iron to whoever asks (wether is a client or not) and they don't care when he gives it back. Then, you're left with the choice to just wait and hope that one iron will be available for your stay there.
2. When we checked-out, we wanted to leave our luggages there, as this was also a thing that was 'promised' to us (although i understand, again, this is subject to availability). They said they didn't have any space left, that's a bummer, but we understood that. Unfortunately, they didn't even have the decency to recommend something else, they just didn't care. The girl from the reception said "We're sorry, we don't have space! :)". We had to deal with this on our own, which is ok, but you're there to help us too, right? At least with some recommandation, not just say 'yes or no' or just type in my personal info on the keyboard when i check in.
3. Last thing, when we left (on the day of the check-out) it was raining in Berlin, so we kindly asked for an umbrella. The girl on the reception was very surprised and was like 'but you're leaving :o', well, no, if you would've paid attention, you would've noticed that we intended to leave our luggage for a couple of hours, then come back, a point in which we would've brought the umbrella...
