I stayed here for one night after arriving late at CMB. Everything you need for a good nights sleep, the bed was comfortable, a towel was provided and the bathrooms are great - clean and each separate bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. Great that there is a restaurant at the hostel which serves great food, and had live music early in the evening. Also convenient that this hostel is located so close to the airport and train station. If you stay here, you can use the pool at a nice hotel 2 minutes away.
Would be great if the beds has curtains but most hostels in Sri Lanka don't have this. The door to get into the dorm was quite loud and clunky when opening/closing.

Beds were big and comfortable. Acces to the neighboring hotel's pool was very nice but we ended up going there only once as it rained every day for the 3 days we were there.
Altough there's no common area you can sit in one of the tables there. We could also BYOB ;) but it's probably not encouraged
On my boyfriend's bed you could clearly see the sheets were not changed and washed as they had toothpaste stains.
The AC leaked one entire night making it impossible to catch a good night's sleep. My backpack got wet. They fixed it in the morning but it kept leaking...
No wifi. I mean it exists but it does not work.

Wide bed and nice bathroom
Didn’t enjoy my stay coz of the Staff and the Noise until 1-2am!
Specially manager who was Rude and not understandable at all! Asked my friend to stay only for 2h with me, due to the common area was so noisy! Music was screaming under the ear due to live concert going on and all local people gathers on Saturday night right in the Hostel Area. The whole room was shacking, from first sense, manager who didn’t understand our situation, we would be fine to stay in Restaurant area but it wasn’t possible to sit there.
Completely unpleasant and won’t recommend staying where every $ counts ☠️
