If you prefer a relaxing day at home, the house offers an open plan, where you can read, watch TV and/or a movie, play board games or just visit. When the weather is nice (most of the time in this area of North Carolina) you can enjoy the outdoor seating or take your meals at the picnic table. The space is open plan, light and bright, welcoming and friendly. It sleeps 6 very comfortably (we allow up to 8). There is seating, dish- and flatware enough for everyone!

The property was easy to find and comfortable for our family of 5 to have options for sleeping and hanging out. We loved being able to use the EV charger which saved us from having to rent a car. The host was quick to reply to communication as well! We will gladly stay again!

This is the first time I ever did a vacation rental and my experience was fabulous! Irene was a fabulous host! The property was very clean and inviting. Everything you needed to make you feel at home was supplied. Irene is your ideal host. Any questions are answered quickly. The beds are comfortable. Ample amounts of towels, sheets, pillows and blankets are provided. This cottage is a hidden gems but yet next to tons of restaurants and stores. Well worth it!

We stopped here on our drive down to Florida. It was great for our little family. It had plenty of puzzles and toys for kids and some games for adults. The place was clean and comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for more!

My Mother, Sister and I enjoyed staying at the cottage while attending our great nephews graduation. Irene was very attentive to any questions we had. We loved that the location was close to anything we needed while also being just far enough away for peace and quiet.

We only stayed overnight but this property is well equipped for a longer stay if needed. The house is spacious with plenty of room for the kids to play and there was everything we needed to cook dinner and have a nice quiet night. The owner is very friendly and was easy to communicate with.
