Nice fully stocked home in a great location with a pleasant neighborhood. The private beach was pristine and breathtaking. Lots of wildlife. Amazing views from the top decks. West facing upper deck with Green Egg BBQ has epic sunset views.
The deck's paint was peeling severely, flaking off and getting tracked into the house, requiring constant vacuuming; I was told this would be fixed promptly. The always-on NEST system raises privacy concerns. The outdoor spotlights' timer and sensitivity were overly sensitive, triggering constantly, even when walking onto the lower deck at night. The TVs are somewhat outdated, and the deck furniture was very uncomfortable. The local Publix on the island is under reconstruction and closed until November 2025, requiring a trip inland to another store, though this was manageable. The rental process required double-verifying the contract through a third-party booking company and sending a copy of my ID to the owner's private phone, raising additional privacy concerns, as my age and validity should have been confirmed via booking.com. I've rented multiple properties and never encountered this requirement.
