Close to the fort. Excellent host. Lovely delicious food. Very friendly family. Great fireside banter at night. Made to feel very welcome.
Toilet shower facilities below standard.
Hard to see why this aspect wasnt highlighted by previous guests. Toilet and shower are essentially in the same room as the bed, which wasnt ideal.
I slept with the door open all night for fresh air.
Basic would best describe the accomodation.
It didnt meet with my basic standards and spending more money might be a better option for the traveller with higher expectations. Maybe I'm too fussy. Maybe you are too.
