About this apartment rental
Best location , walking distance to everywhere at Oberlin College. This unique apartment is located above the downtown businesses but is still relaxing and quiet inside. Nice living room, kitchen and full bath. Located across the parking lot from the Oberlin Conservatory. Great place for parents to stay when visiting for the weekend. Queen size bed located on the first landing with a futon upstairs

This is an incredibly generous space. From the immediacy of the communications with the host, to the abundance of bath products, coffee and tea, appliances, and anything else you could possible need, to the space itself which is large and on two levels with a possibility of three double beds. What it lacks in visual beauty it more than makes up for in welcome. Though the furniture is a bit old and run down, the place is extremely clean and the many happy plants give a homey feel. Thank you!

Our stay was superb. The host, Arnie, was super helpful and flexible to help us find the apartment, get in, and help give us general guidance for our visit to Oberlin. The kitchen was stocked with sodas, snacks, coffee etc. Although decor was not new, and the building had a modest musty smell, the apartment was immaculately clean. It was perfect for visiting the Oberlin campus & town.

The photos are accurate. The bed is not a true separate room but a nook off the entry, ceilings about 6’ tall. The bed was comfortable, with an AC machine right there. I slept great immediately. The futon has some springs in it. Not an amazing bed, but not rock-hard like some futons. It would work for a young and supple person. There was actually a bonus room as well that I think is not always available.
Owner was very welcoming, responsive, and helpful.
There were some issues with cleanliness, but I truly think Arnie cares about his guests’ experience, so I will discuss these with him privately, and future residents can confirm they have been taken care of. Give him a minute to do so. :)
